Don’t get this one.
He’s predominantly a left back - no way would he come in ahead of mykolenko. We also have nkounkou as back up.

However reports are saying we’d use him as a no 6. Which is definitely a position we need. However why would we go for a player who’s played occasionally as a no 6 rather than an out and out no6?

Makes no sense whatsoever.

Think it’ll be a long summer with all the rumours we’ll see - already been linked with atleast 20 players with majority of them out of our price range! Silly season has well and truly started.

He plays as a centre mid/ attacking mid for the ukraine national team.
Agree a proper no6 is a priority.

Surely a solid CB is the priority?

Not for me, we need a player in the no 6 role who has spent a fair amount of time playing there. He's a LB isn't he? Although I know that he plays in CM for his country. Good t to be better out there that we can snap up.

He is a 6. Played LB for city because they didn't have anyone else who can play there. Bit like Delph did when they won the league.

{Ed077's Note - I think Zinchenko plays as an AM/CM for Ukraine. He is a midfielder playing at LB for City. Has proven to be very versatile.

Versatility is important. He’s also played left wing for city and looked effective.

I can't believe people wouldn't take him. Watch the City v Villa game again and watch how he played.
