I also think ed2 might have been trying to throw us off when it comes to broja. Or maybe now they have such interest in Gordon we feel we may have enough leverage to have a chance with him. But I'm probably just being overly hopeful there.

think brereton diaz would be good shout from that list watched blackburn good few times last season and he can score goals whether he can do it in prem who knows but young prospect even if its a stepping stone for us as long as he can score and be a nuisance for the opposition than am happy.

Brereton Diaz would be a great option for me, young and hungry to prove himself at the next level
Good all round game knows where the goal is as he’s developed
1 year left on his contract so shouldn’t cost the earth

I would get that done now

Then with the Gordon situation if we are interested in Broja get him thrown in as part of the deal that would give us two strikers if DCL can’t stay fit
And then shift Rondon off to that Spanish club who were interested

Not going to happen but that’s my two cents.

Whoever it is, won't be ready for Forest. Looking at the list Guiressey or Broja would be my choice but you just know it is going to be Adams. Still a panic buy though and could have been avoided.

If ed025 info is good then it wouldn’t be Maupay as he wasn’t in the list of players I mentioned and Ed suggests it’s one from that list.

Diaz would be the one I’d want - only 23 and banging them in for Blackburn and looks like could make the step up, would also not be the most expensive on the list.

My money is on Guirassy and possibly Diaz. I don’t have enough knowledge of any of the players mentioned to have a favourite but think these two are the logical steps.

The only thing that makes me think I’m wrong is Ed25 said they had prem experience (though I may have made that up) . That would suggest Bats, Adams or Broja…

This Wednesday Christmas isn’t over but I think we may have to wait until Boxing Day to find out.
