Wasn’t his biggest fan at Spurs, didn’t exude calmness. I’d rather we looked elsewhere to replace JB if he goes.

Has to be better alternatives out there than davison Sanchez if JB does decide to go greaves from hull be good shout we need like for like replacement not saying greaves will be better than jb for one minute but the same age replacement instead of going for older center halfs in my opinion as replacements.

On a centre back I know he is older but IMO still a solid defender and he could help the younger players breaking into first team Matts Hummells on a free transfer give him option of coaching role as I think he’s still got would be a great addition him and Tarky at back thoughts anyone we all have different opinions I think be. Great addition to squad.

I would prefer Mengi myself. Should be getting him in over Greaves imo.

Played in the league. Big, strong and physical. Had a very good season for Luton.

He was poor at spurs and at that price that’s being quoted there are far better options available - whether they’d be interested coming to us is another matter, but genuinely think we should steer clear of this signing.

Look there's no way Keane, Maupay or Holgate are going to move to a Championship club given the wages we pay them. The best you could hope for is sending them out on loan, and we would probably still have to pay a portion of the wage.
Regarding Keane and Holgate, think they will run their contracts down. Think about it Keane on around 100k a week, why would he give any of that up?

Whilst Keane is not the future, we may as well keep him for another season as no one will pay his wages. Could do worse as back up. Holgate and Maupay on the other hand aren’t even good enough to warm the bench. Someone will take Maupay I’d imagine, and Holgate did go a championship team last year, so that’s a possibility.

Hummels? Not a chance mate. Our targets need to be young and hungry players that have some value if we come to sell them at a later date. Paying someone like MH well over 100k per week would be suicidal given our struggles with ffp.

You know some players when they get older lose interest and just want a pay day. It’s not always the case that senior players are good for the younger ones.

Think we have enough senior players NFM. In fact, we might have some of the oldest defenders in the league.
