Reports in the media saying Carlo is working on Two more signings b4 the window shuts, not bad when some on here reckoned we had no finances, just shows non of us have a clue on what happens in our Club.

To be fair GB its not that we haven't got the money its that we think we need to sell or loan with a fee before we buy due to FFP.

{Ed002's Note - Everton know they have to be compliant with FFP by June 20, 2021.}

Let’s hope so GB. Still feels like we’d need to sell to be able to buy. If we could get Kean out and a more traditional no9 in to compete with DCL, we’d be very strong. In an ideal world I’d loan out Kenny again too and get a RB in.

Ed002 do you think we’ll achieve being compliant by June 2021?
I know you’ve said we’re working hard on moving players on but as yet most of the high earners they want to move on are still with us.
Without moving players on, would winning a cup or getting into Europe help with the finances? Apologies if this is a naive thought, cheers.

{Ed002's Note - Everton need to balance the books and reduce wages. It will mean sales.}

Cheers Ed. Will be interesting to see if we can make some sales of the fringe players who are not in the plans rather than having to sell a first teamer to help balance the books.

Problem is Ed, the players we want to move on are very average and on massive wages, which makes them undesirable and unaffordable. In terms of balancing the books, is it more about the wages? Which means letting them go for a lot less than their market value? Or is it more about getting money in, which means pushing for higher transfer fees, but perhaps making a wage contribution?

{Ed002's Note - It is about both. Everton need to get some work done right away, then start working on next summer to get pre-sales.}

We might shift a few out to lower the wage bill Ed002, but very much doubt we will get much for the players we want out. Even Brands will struggle with that one.

{Ed002's Note - So sales need to be made in January or guaranteed before June 30.}
