Quick one blues,
Just a yes or no
Do you think Everton will get it right on the appointment,
For me it's a
NO
Come on have your say, it will be interesting to see what the outcome is and to see what we all think of the club at the moment
Just a simple YES or NO.

No - we need to build a team an philosophy that a manager/ coach fits with that way we don't start at ground zero every time there is a change. Need to leave brands to build something not keep releasing players for free which have cost millions.

Bolasie and Walcott cost over 50mill between then with wages and agents fees and we have got zero back.

It's not sustainable and we look vulnerable at the minute to ffp and also what happens if the money gets pulled like it did at villa all those years ago.

If you think about it the two stories are not a million miles apart spend to chase the dream and be left with a squad of over paid players with little to no sell on value.

That's my view but everyone mentioned is a short terms rip it up and start again manager which is exactly what we don't need.

On current evidence which is sparse

No - not a chance. Would help if the directors could agree on anything.

If we appoint Rafa then I think we have the right manager to sought a new philosophy for our club and this is badly needed, Rafa will know our club inside out and will take the step to change things that we have all been saying on this site for years now
Forget he was the successful manager of Liverpool, he is a top class operator and in my opinion much much better than Ancelotti
It’s a golden opportunity for Everton to secure his service for the next 5 years or more, just hope we get this appointment over the line this week.

If he's top class I don't see any queue trying to get him. Worried he's just after a final payday!

Will we get it right? That depends on how much time they will get to do their job. Let me say this as an example of where our club stands. if klopp wouldve taken the everton job rather than Liverpool then he would've been yet another managerial casualty. No way would we have given him the 4 yrs he asked for at liverpool. That is where our problem lies. If our next manager hits a few bad results then the pressure becomes unbearable and ultimately it will drive him out. I personally think CA wouldve got the chop next season or resigned as the crowds would let their feelings known. We have no patience. We want instant success. CA didn't get it as bad because of his stature. Anyone else playing that type of football wouldve been shown the door.

If Moshiri gets his way and ignores certain board members and a large section of the fanbase, then NO.

Mr Moshri is the boss, my feeling is he is after a headliner again. It is his (Usmanov in background) after all. Just hope his 'advisors' are not back on board.

Tomtom272, you don't see many negatives on him either (apart from those that cannot forget a miscrued comment 15 years ago) .
