Makes you wonder why we bothered scouting Bailey 15+ times.

Why do these moves mean we won't go for someone like Bailey? Links around the Web this morning. I fully believe both gray and Townsend will be squad players. Ultimately them 2 and begovic will be completely covered by someone like bernard going.

Agree with you cropper, i reckon he is getting a couple in who can do a job for him when needed. He is just strengthening the squad and i don't care what people say but they are better than Siggy and Bernard.
We all knew this was going to be a difficult job to get us where we want to be but at least let's have a little bit of patience.

I'm sorry but as much as Siggy is maligned by so many, and rightly so on here, he certainly wasn't a 50million pound signing. He has 8 goals and 8 assist over the last 2 seasons, compared to 2 and 6 for AT.

For perspective that is only 2 more goal contributions than Bernard who has played almost half the games.

Just for a bit more perspective those figures were for a far worse club EFCONE.
