It is worrying but in football two weeks is a long time and we don't know what is going on behind the scenes. I think the emerging news of Dumfries could be a blessing, as long as we get another right back.
I believe we still need three players and a striker, rightback and pacey midfielder/ winger are a must.

I think we are in a FFFP mess but no one at Everton is willing to admit it.

Honestly, I think they are hoping that Ricky or DCL or both come back and want a transfer. That's the only way they will get any funds to buy.

Otherwise Kean will go for 25m and little or no funds made available to Benitez.

Why would Raffa take this job with no funds and the abuse he’s taken? One things for sure signing players late in the transfer window is very reactive. Bar last season I think it’s what we do. Tallaontour. I like many have no idea about the Clubs financial situation or which accounting column they prioritise. What I do know is that Rafa is the real deal and just could be the new Everton Moyes (albeit a big upgrade) .

Villa are spending because they know Grealish is leaving. We spent big over 4/ 5 seasons and have to balance the books. Doesn’t mean we won’t spend on more players. I’d rather each deal was considered and scrutinised, otherwise we’ll be buying more Klassens. Few teams have completed deals - all teams are trying to get value by holding out for best prices and looking at loans/ swaps over permanent deals in lots of cases. Wouldn’t be surprised if we were still buying up to the end of the window.

Gents take a chill pill we all know we don't have money its been publicised on numerous occasions. If we can we will sign players if we can't we wont. Yes we could do with a new right back and right wing but we currently have multiple players that can play in the positions. let's not forget that the current squad were only one win away from a European spot so its not all doom and gloom. In my opinion we won't get relegated so it will be just another season of trying to get better with what we have got. The club is heading in the right direction so let be positive. let's not forget the PL is rigged financially but life not fair anyway so we just have to suck it up.

It’s time we get the best out of done if these players rather than demanding more and more signings.
Getting 1-2 through the under 23s would be a bonus and an expectation in my view otherwise what is going on.
