Bit mad letting Nkounkou going out on loan isn't it. Looks like we're going into the season with Branthwaite and the ever reliable Delph as back ups.

He'll get regular football which he needs. He won't get much time behind Digne this season so for me it's a great move him and us.

We have cover with Godfrey who would only be used there sporadically anyway.

He needs game time and isn't going to get much of that with Digne ahead of him. I think Godfrey is more likely to be used as cover than Delph.

Godfrey covered LB last season so don’t see what’s changed this season allowing him to go out on loan will be better for him and us as opposed to another 12 months sat waiting.
