would love to ask the club one question if are academy is as good as what unsworth says and others why are these players not giving a chance i look at at the other side see they threw 16 year old in there match and then am watching us just the same players there must be players in the reserves or 19s who could of played better then iwobi davies gomes kenny has to be and am i right the last player we promoted was tom davies.

i feel sorry for any fan that traveled there last night me getting tired of the same bracket of players who have just been p. poor an we as fans ask the same question why can't no kid get a run out in the 1st team see liverpool do it see villa do it againat newport in the cup this is my opinon i would stick with rafa for the next 5 years cause its going to take 5 years just to offload iwobi davies gomes delph tosun just really am annoyed with that game last night see kids on the bench don't even get a look in what more can they do people moan about davies pen anyone see iwobis miss blimey can't pass dribble tackle shoot just runs am backing rafa regardless how it goes this season but about time these players got hung out to dry and take the blame aswell.

My point after watching last nights game, we have no one other than Gordon and Simms, and the latter got no minutes!
I think Unsworth needs to be scrutinised as I cannot see one promising player knocking on the first team door, yet we seem to sign a lot of youngsters into the academy.
We are behind top teams that can not only buy quality bit seemingly develop it!
Unfortunately Tom Davies has not improved enough since he joined the first team he looks a bang average player!

coudnt agree more wakka i think are local press are to soft around everton clearly we have been giving a platform to write things on here but they could ask these the questions and for whatever reason they dont.

i can understand why they are going to get picked ed 025 but in my opinion i know for a fact that sny kid if gets given a chance he will try his hardest prove himself that they can compete with other players in the 1st team i just feel sorry for the fans that travelled me.

{Ed025's Note - i do to andy, but the players who let us down were not the kids mate, they were players who have played many premiership games but they have no heart or respect for the club or its fans imo..

Ed025 like you I am old school, fans were brilliant last night as always are away if you cannot perform with this motivation then they really should not be pulling the shirt on, some just are not good enough while others do not look up for it! Bitter disappointment but we should look to the top and question our recruitment policies!
