We have an ancient right back and kenny who we have known has been not good enough for years
We loan our only other left back out so consistently playing players out of position every time our left back gets injured
Got hollgate at club who has not progressed
Gbamin must have been like this in training and is never going to be at a top level again - Davies is championship player
This team is a complete shambles and has been for years - no direction - mediocre players everywhere

Brands needs to carry the can - only person ever present - time for him to go

Sorry Sobs but if the rest of us have to put up with this crap then so do you mate. What’s most frustrating is as supporters we can see what’s wrong, and what’s needed. But every manager we get in seems to be oblivious of it. They then compound the problem by bringing in or playing players consistently who are clearly not good enough.

@sobs - Duncan Ferguson has been ever present also. Plus he is a ‘coach’. If Brands hands are dirty then Duncan and can he likes of Unsworth must be to.
I am unsure of the whole situation myself. I blame Martinez 1st year tbh, I think it woke up he sleeping giant and galvanised a divided fan base whilst recruiting Lukaku who let’s face it we have never replaced and is by far the best striker we have had at the club in the past 20 years. This gave us optimism, hope, a sense of ‘We’re BACK! ’ Only then for the giant to be put back to sleep millions spent and not one step further than the day Moyes left ?.

Sobs/ DFS I think every poster on this site are frustrated to varying degrees. I have always valued both your opinions. I have not always agreed 100% with them but recognise they are what you believe in and are valid viewpoints

if you do decide not to post for a while you will be missed by myself and others but more importantly I think you will miss the opportunity this site gives you to get things off your chest

It's a tough gig being a football supporter and things aren't 100% right just now. Our opinions are pretty meaningless in the total scheme of things but I value and want yours so please reconsider

Moshiri is an ever present. So are the directors and Moshiri's 'advisors'

The present DOF model isn't working because Brands get's over-ruled all the time. Maybe it's not all his fault but it simply isn't working. Either make the DOF what is says on the tin- the DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL - or he is irrelevant and needs to go. My only reservation with making Rafa responsible for recruitment is Rondon. An effective DOF would have stopped that

Agree we need to go back to buying young, developing and increasing transfer valuations.
