Rafa talking about the togetherness of the team, and that the team gave everything on Sunday.
Sorry I am not seeing a team that is together and supporting each other. And definitely didn't see a team giving everything on the day.

That’s twice in recent games where we’ve had players arguing amongst themselves on the pitch, ., that is not togetherness.
His post match comments on their efforts are highly embarrassing and smacks of desperation but the so-called board will absorb and accept them.
They will not sack him and allow the absolute disgrace that is EFC to continue as is…arrogance of the highest level.
I’m not for instability but when the football (and results) served up by Sam Allladyce is better than what we have now it shows haw far things have fallen…get him gone and Brands and Ferguson and Kenwright and even Moshiri despite his generous yet misguided investment
Goodison will be toxic on Wednesday but if Rondon and Iwobi are anywhere near the team then I think it will be unlike ever before.

{Ed025's Note - i hope your wrong brett mate..

They were together in absolute mediocrity. In fact mediocrity is a little kind.

Giving everything is an odd thing to praise. Football is a results game not an effort game. You can run around like headless chickens and appear to be putting in21 effort, physically maybe but we are not giving anything mentally to the game at all.

Rafas press conferences are starting to sound very big Sam which is a big worry.

Having watched the game, as shocking as the result was were we honestly that bad?
We lost to a penalty.
Pickford hardly had to do anything in the game.
Defence was solid.
Brentford never looked like scoring another.
Midfield created numerous chances.
The problem is/ was nobody to get on the end of those chances.
Rondon is not the answer.
I think we’re all p****d that Rafa continues with him.

Play like we did against Brentford when we have DCL back and we’ll win a fair few games.

The issue is we don’t know when he’ll be back though and that’s the worrying thing - we can create hundreds of chances and not looking like Rondon would bury any of them.

I’m as frustrated as the next fan with Rafa persisting with Rondon, but feel as soon as DCL is back results will improve - just hope it’s soon!

We weren’t scoring with Richy up top either.

JB totally agree.
I currently don’t see what Richarlison offers to the team.
Doesn’t score enough goals for us.
Doesn’t create many chances.
Continually strops if things don’t go his way.

Fair play he tracks back and puts a tackle in, but in our current situation I’d rather he stayed up top and tried to bury chances we get.

Also his needless booking to then miss Brentford game was just stupid - needs to mature a bit.

There’s clearly a good player in there - look at how he performs for Brazil - just not sure why we aren’t getting the most out of him and only see it now and then.

Maybe it’s because the other players are to busy zonal marking to actually pass him the ball.
Against Spurs he was making some lovely diagonal runs, but we lacked the vision in midfield to find him.

I can see what you're saying good but it's the way Rafa sets the team up. He plays him in a similar system to to what he plays DCL. Richarlison is the type of player who wants a through ball to get in behind or into the channels. He does play to richarlisons strengths so we don't get the best out of him. It's annoying.
