If we are talking about a manager change then ill take you back a few months to my post about giving the job to dunc. Now I ask you would he really have done a worse job than rafa has? a lot of people said he'd "get us relegated" a lot of people chose rafa over dunc. I said at the time if we had a bad game then, under ferguson, we wouldn't have two in a row. Rafa is losing the team and the fans in great haste. I fear for the fella at the Derby I really do. Yes its unfair but he quite clearly is struggling with this team. Duncan would've changed it after 1 bad game. I'm sorry but I still stand by my opinion. We shouldve given the job to dunc.

Not sure I agree or disagree, however what is evident is Duncan appears far more subdued under Rafa.

When he was with Carlo he was the most animated at the side of the pitch, was like he was almost kicking and heading every ball. None of that now - suggests the dynamic has definitely changed and not convinced for the better.

I think I’d rubbish myself if had Dunc hollering at me, probably not so much if Rafa was.

{Ed0666's Note - Maybe Big Dunc has had a spiritual awakening found his inner Zen and realized shouting and screaming isn’t the answer? I wish my wife would find her inner zen.

Please take off your blue tinted specs…never in a million years is Ferguson a premier league manager
“Jobs for the old guard” is contributory to the mess we are in…think with your head and not your heart and sentiment.
Rafa out, Brands out, Iwobi out, Rondon out, you know the rest.

{Ed0666's Note - I blame DCL as soon as he started cross dressing the team became distracted and went into free fall.

Pauly

I also wanted Dunc to be given a shot but not sure sacking Rafa at this point is going to help the situation. Just piling one more locomotive onto the massive trainwreck we are living through.

With that said, honestly what is he watching that "the boys gave their all". I would love know what DF was thinking when he heard that (bet he didn't completely agree) . What we all can agree is that we most certianly Can Complain about the effort and intensity shown on the pitch by many of the players and especially the manager. Losing to a new team and the only change is to take off one of the few players sending in crosses into nobody. Granted, Gray sent in even better crosses to nobody but Rafa either wouldn't or couldn't make the effort to try something different. Wondering why would any promising young players come or stay and Finch Farm if they are not even given a chance when it is painfully obvious that what we are doing isn't working.

OK we spent a King's fortune and don't have a champion's league team to show for it. It's not good but it is what it is. What is not acceptable is that the manager and many of the player's seem to find it acceptable and are unwilling or unable to change. I for one would have rather watched us bring in Simms and Dobbin and have the chance for something different, potentially exciting, and some enthusiasm even if it didn't lead to a better result.

Definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome…Everton Football Club is insane.

I agree with many here rondon and iwobi will be his downfall and are not good enough, but for how immobile rondon is has to be worth a 20/ 30 minute gamble on simms, even if he gets to a couple of crosses gives team belief someone will attack a cross at least, as rondon will be 10 seconds behind and iwobi jogging from the halfway line asking directions towards the goal.

I'm not saying we should axe him. I'm just saying would dunc have done a worse job? The games he was in charge for actually gave me that everton feeling that had been missing for so many years before and after he stepped down. We need unity. We need to feel a part of the club and the only person who has come close to that has been duncan (since moyes) . There's no enjoyment anymore. The fans, the players, the staff just don't look unified and we need someone who can bring that feeling back. Duncs passion for the club would ensure we ALL felt a part of this again. that's all I'm saying. You say he's not good enough? Have a look at all the great managers through the years, they created a passionate team and support network. We don't have that anymore and its spreading through everything associated with EFC.

If big dunc can't get some passion out of players as first team coach, how will he do it as manager, if we have a change the whole lot should go.
