What a load of rubbish - where’s everyone supposed to go for 5 minutes?

Would make more sense to ask fans to turn back on the pitch than leave seats.

Sounds like a great idea to stop supporting the team (presumably some sort of weird attempt to inspire the players?! ) and to turn your back on the man that has poured huge money into the club and is making a dockside stadium reality for us. Lots of mistakes have been made but in recent times I'm becoming increasingly embarrassed to be an Evertonian. Not because the team is awful, but because of how quick we are to turn on the club and players. No doubt we'll have forced another manager out by end of season with a massive payoff and then be complaining about the ffp situation!

Totally agree TD.
Either support the club or don’t.
Just think the idea of leaving for 5 minutes is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard.
Where do they expect people to go for 5 minutes? It’s hard enough getting to the toilet or a drink at half time when half the fans leave their seats- now you want all fans to leave for 5 minutes - would be absolute carnage.

If they really want to protest then they should either leave completely or as I said turn back on pitch.

I wouldn’t be doing either - I’m a fan and in it for the long haul, through the good and bad.

We’re having a difficult time of things at the mo but I’m confident things will improve.

I've already said I don't think this protest does anything for Everton's reputation but I do think you should read what the protesters sent to FM as to why they are making the protest. Far from turning the backs of FM they thank him for all his investment in the club and say they want to have the same goals as him in making the club great again

Read it before you make you mind up.
