The club statement on his sacking is quite telling imo. Very short and no mention of thanking him for his efforts etc. very curt.

What's to thank him for? Binning medical staff, Brands, Digne! who was next?

He was a six month wrecking ball. Nothing to thank him for I'm afraid.

Best thing he did was give us Demarai Grey.

He more than likely used every excuse in the book with the board then finally Norwich was all they could take. . . the phrase 'peeing down our backs and claiming it was raining ' etc. .
However even though Rafa had to go, it seems to me there are plenty questions to be asked with the the guys in suits chomping on canapés downing expensive wine ? and giving it the big talk on what's best for the club Hmmm. . . well hows that going? ?.

Was the same for Digne wasn’t it. Short and sharp. The whole place stinks which is why I can see Bills Pov in wanting Martinez.

Regardless of how it ended you can’t deny the man oozed class and charisma.

Yes. Thanks Rafa for making us worse in your short (thankfully) tenure with us.

I’m not saying he should have been thanked!

The point I’m making is that regardless of the circumstances an appointment ends, there’s usually a statement from the clubs with a load of guff as to their efforts blah blah blah. In this case, it was short and curt and I think that’s very yelling as to the acrimony at the club.

The digne thing is another example of how badly the club is run isn't it?! I know we have different views on just how good digne is, but that aside he's essentially gone after a disagreement with a manager who the board must have known was only one loss away from the sack!
