Just going to temper the enthusiasm a bit.

While I'm hugely optimistic for the rest of the season, the 2 arrivals have not played and when then have, they haven't really pulled up any trees. I hope game time and frankie will see a huge improvement.

Our own players have been misifirng for months, or injured. Again, we need to hope the change in regime will help them.

We all need to be aware we still have poor players in our squad, ones we have been slagging off on here for months.

Keane, Holgate iwobi, etc

These players will not become world beaters overnight but we all need to get behind the team and the manager and give him the 2/ 3 years he will need to rebuild, even if we struggle and lose a few games, which we will.

I agree geoffjohno, we have made a couple of great signings, but the back line has been porous this season, and we have not brought in anybody to cover that area or a "Gueye" type player to protect that area with injuries to Doucore and Allan and the later probably off back to Italy at the end of the season. With the run of games we have at the end of the season we need to start winning quickly and that is going to add to the pressure if we don't.
Every supporter has get behind them for 95minutes of every game, and not slag off players for mistakes during the game. COYB.

We have to utilise the squad we have. Anyone who doesn’t show Lampard they’re good enough between now and July can leave in the summer. Wage bill will already be reduced significantly with Delph, Gylfi, Tosun leaving. Hopefully this will allow for further development of the squad.

Whilst I agree Keane, iwobi, holgate etc. won't become world beaters overnight - do we actually need them to?

We've now got a new young manager who is not afraid of giving youth a go so hopefully we'll see Branthwaite, Patterson, onyango and Dobbin feature more.

He may also give the likes of Whitaker and welch chances to.

If iwobi, Keane, holgate etc don't improve then there are other options available

I have far more confidence in Lampard picking and playing the right players than Rafa (rondon anyone? )

Dan, lampard is saying all the right things but can't just lump all the kids in straight away.

Looking forward to seeing the team and formation he chooses.

Geoff, don't expect him to throw them all in.

however Branthwaite with his performance against Chelsea should be getting in ahead of both Keane and Holgate.

Dobbin showed more speed, agility and desire in his cameos than Rondon has in all his starts for us.

Gordon also should start everygame over iwobi.

None of these players would be thrown in, they all deserve a chance over the likes of iwobi, keane and holgate.

Fingers crossed Lampard sees that.
