Quote from James. James Rodriguez: "I would have liked to have been at Everton for much longer. It's a spectacular club, the fans are incredible, but I ran into a coach who didn't want to count on me. I wanted to be there.

. Unfortunately, the coach didn't want to count on me".

Before fans jump on my neck about the saved wages have a look at the table.

Moshiri is an idiot when it comes to Football. The moment he went against multiple high profile club officials and appointed him he's solidified himself as an idiot when it comes to football imo.

I couldn't give 2 rubbishs about the new stadium before any1 uses that as a defense for him.

{Ed0666's Note - James was absolute garbage and has been for years. Was stealing a living getting paid by Everton. Rafa knew this why else would Madrid loan him out to 85 different clubs while he was their player? Yes Rafa had beef with him and yes he probably got rid of him partly to do with the beef but he got rid of an atrocious player, on spectacular wages living off playing two good games for Colombia in a World Cup ions ago. If your gonna beat Rafa with a brush at least use a worthy one. As for Moshiri it’s his club he does what he wants. I didn’t see many other parties lining up with a wad of cash eagerly trying to build you world class stadia.

James had no intention not interest in staying with Everton. The bloke is lying.

I agree Ed 666 with your reply, if Rodrigues had stayed and played we would be rock bottom now, it is what it is at Everton it’s not just about one player though, just hope Frank can come up with a winning formula, as he get to know the true value of his squad, fingers crossed.

Didn’t James get in the TOTY in Germany for Bayern? James was really good for us when he played.

As for him being loaned out by Real, Real loan out plenty of players who have been or are good enough for them. Hakimi, Hernandez, Reguilon, Llorente, Kovacic and Bale. So they love loaning out good players. I don’t put much stock in them loaning James out as proving he was garbage. Saw with my own eyes him be quality for us when he played.

As for Rafa, we know it’s a grudge thing, this is the same man who spent actual human money on Joselu and Muto. Sold Adam Armstrong for peanuts because he didn’t rate him, signed Rondon for Everton and went to Chelsea and told John Terry he wasn’t good enough for the premier league anymore. The same John Terry who got into the PFA TOTY 2 seasons later.

Did alright at Napoli, took them from 3rd to 5th, then Sarri came in and did much better. Took Jose Mourinho’s amazing Inter Milan side that won the league and champions league the season before, and ruined it. Got sacked because of how bad he did in the league before Christmas. Did a similar job at Newcastle to Steve Bruce, spent nearly £60m in the championship, despite people saying he never got to spend any money. Spent nearly 100m in 2 seasons in the premier league.

Now why is he loved by the Newcastle fans so much? It’s got nothing to do with what happened on the pitch. It’s because he took digs at Mike Ashley in his interviews and press conferences.

So I don’t trust his judgement on players in the slightest.

Agree with most of that Swan but not on James. He had a couple of decent games when he first came in, then the usual injury problems started and half the games he did play after that seemed to pass him by. Completely agree with ED0666’s assessment of him.

Some proper nonsense there Swan

Did alright at Napoli

Lol won a trophy with Napoli and the only trophy they have won since Maradona hung up his boots ???.

Took Jose Mourinho’s amazing Inter Milan side

Even a bigger lol. A side in absolute decline who couldn’t win anything after he left till new owners came in and started pumping money. Though they did win the club World Cup with Rafa. That inter jose left was aging and trash. You are rig he he was sacked in December and what did they win ???. NOTHING.

Now on to the players.

Signed an out of favor Higuain from Real and transformed him to a €97 mill player in two seasons scoring 65 goals. eventually sold to Juventus.

A six month managerial stint at Chelsea finishing 3rd and winning the Europa league (the only competition they were in when he joined)

Look Benitez got sacked because his tactics, formations, team selection and substitutions were all awful. The guy is passed his best, and should have stayed in China.

Yes he won a trophy, which is why I said he did alright. In the league he did nothing that Sarri didn’t do better.

As for Inter, so the team that nearly won the treble, aged so badly in 3 months that they couldn’t compete in the league? Very convenient that mate. If nearly winning the treble makes you a trash team, you have very high standards. Your Liverpool side hasn’t won the treble, are they trash too?

Higuain was out of favour at Real Madrid because Benzema was better, but Higuain was already a really good striker. That’s like saying Mourinho took an out of favour Bale at Real Madrid and made him a good player at spurs, was already a good player.

Forgot to mention Rafa failed in China and in Madrid too.

Give it a rest Swan. Napoli was hardly a challenger before his arrival or after he left them. Where is the great Sarri today? They are a top 4 side and been that from a while.

Inter was utterly aging when jose left same as UTD who hasn’t won a league for a decade now. Rafa wanted signing and he wasn’t going to get any. He was sacked and then followed a host of managers that won absolutely **** all for inter.
Half of the world failed at Real including Carlo Anchelotti.

Lampard flopped at Chelsea as well. Didn’t he?

Ancelotti won 5 trophies at Real Madrid mate. Benitez won a sacking and that’s it. Not comparable.

He was followed by managers who won nothing, but those managers didn’t inherit a team that won the champions league the year before, did they? .

Funny the excuses that are made for Rafa in regards to anything. The nearly treble winning side became rubbish overnight and it was nothing to do with Rafa, okay.

Rafa also took Napoli from 2nd to 5th.

Yes Lampard did flop at Chelsea in his second season. I don’t need to try make excuses for that, he flopped.

Whereas Rafa could take over from Pep or Klopp, relegate City or Liverpool and the reds would say “oh well it’s because Foden got old overnight” or “Salah became rubbish overnight”.

Always an excuse. The man has been finished as a top coach since he left Liverpool.

All managers are failures with the exception of Klopp and Pep
Tactics are one thing on the training ground and another thing on match day, if players keep making mistakes and keep giving the ball away then the tactics go out of the window! Frank is now finding this out! Same as Benitez and Ancelotti, it would be the same for Klopp and Pep.

He made a world class pass every game he played but other than that, we may as well have started games with 10 men whenever he played. Lazy and glad he's gone. I don't doubt the manor of his exit was handled by a giant petulant baby but the end of Rodders was crucial.
