What is there to say about that? He has not made a mistake, it is clear and obvious cheating. He has multiple replays and it is a blatant penalty - not just in our view either, have had mates supporting a variety of clubs texting their disbelief about that.
It is a disgrace. Kavanagh is a cheat and should be ashamed of himself.

That farce aside though, pathetic goal to concede. Coleman let's ball come across too easily as ever, holgate lazily sticks out a leg, Keane embarrassing. Those 3 make mistakes so regularly it's no surprise. They have cost us a lot of points this season and will continue to do so whilst they are at the football club.

I agree wholeheartedly with this, we need to get rid of all 3 and add Kenny and Iwobi. NSNO.

Sorry gents I’m a big critic of all 3, but they were really good the whole game today and it was just unfortunate one mistake cost us.

The amount of pressure we were soaking up in the second half amazed it didn’t happen sooner.

Hopefully the team take heart from the performance - which I think is best I’ve seen the team play in a long while - rather than dwell on the result and robbery by the officials.

{Ed025's Note - im with you dan, proud of the guys today mate..

Even if it was a mistake it’s still handball.

I'm a huge critic of those players as everybody is aware. However I feel like that particular moment is nitpicking as they played well.

Tiredness and brutally unlucky for Kean. He is deservingly target if fan flack but that was just unlucky, he was wrong footed and didn't he didn't have time to adjust. Handball decision was criminal. I've been proud that our game had avoided any on field scandals of match fixing etc the last 20 or so years but that was such a ridiculous decision that must be investigated because there is no excuse other than cheating. We deserved a point after the 1st half counter attack display and Pickford saves. Thought we played well and if we can take the positive, we will be ok.

I would take 17th now mate and would say I agree with you if all our games are at home. Our away form us more than worrying though, it is that going to hurt us. We need to get above those falling above us and hold.

He did have time to adjust, he just didn't adjust in time. I agree the lads mentioned largely played well - but again that's why we're where we are because even when they play well they concede a goal like that. And our standards are now so low that we think it's great that they were mainly good and only cost us 1 goal through woeful defending.
Call it nitpicking or whatever you like, fact is we would have drawn that game without conceding a schoolboy goal. Everyone's entitled to opinion, but mine is that settling for players where you're pleased if they only cock up for 1 goal in a game isn't the way forward!

{Ed025's Note - in our position davey we dont need to get on the players backs imo, of course they need replacing but now is the time to unite behind the boys in this battle and not destroy the little confidence they nave mate..

Why was Keane embarrassing ToffeeDavey? He was off balance and weight to his left. Coleman didn't allow the ball, he was beaten, Holgate didn't stick out a leg he made a genuine effort. Some on here act as if they have never played football. It is competitive and physical 90 minutes with the body at it's extreme edge. Let's start being a little more objective, no doubt players read this stuff in and on the media. They are human.
