I have just seen a picture of the Mane incident. It was an attempted eye poke. That is absolutely disgraceful. He should be shouldn't be playing a single game for the rest of the season after that game with us. People may not know how serious an eye poke is. If you watch MMA then you will understand. Absolute machines raised and trained to defeat defeat their opponents and receive kicks, punches, elbows, knees, slams, chokes and other submissions. Yet when they get eye poked they wince in absolute pain, scream out sometimes. They eyes are an extremely sensitive area and little for e is needed to cause damage. The fact the he even tried to do that on the pitch should receive harsh consequences. What a disgrace. I've always been find of Mane also.

Had my differences in the past with ed666 but siding with him in regards the Derby
Number 1 it was a week ago we all need to put it to bed now
2 neither were pens
3 we did OK but didn't deserve to take much or anything from the game
4 thought it was fairly well refed so happy to give the officials some praise for once
5 if you think mane should have been sent off then really we are clutching at staws

Everton forthcoming relegation has nothing to do with how we performed home and away against lfc its down to the worst away form in the league, the minus 21 goal difference, the fact that we haven't been able to string two wins together and ultimately the worst collective team I've ever seen in 40 years on this planet assembled by an atrocious board who have hired and fired several managers. Simple as that.
Ed666 good luck for rest of season. Would be exciting to see q quadruple.

{Ed0666's Note - Hey Whitty Thankyou for the magnanimity mate I really appreciate it. I was ambivalent towards Everton going down but after yesterdays podcast with Eds 025 I hope you don’t. I really think he’ll do something silly if you do (I exaggerate for the narrative). however I disagree about one of your points concerning the derby, if you had scraped a result I would have been enraged as it would have meant the title challenge over but if I was being sincere I would have had to accept it as we didn’t impress at all, create a raft of chances. Did we deserve the three points? Regardless of if you go down or not get on the blower to Sean Dyche and somehow get him to manage your club. He knows how to build a club from the bottom and unfortunately that’s the position you find yourself in today.

I couldn't agree more. Personally I like dyche. I wonder if he will take over at rovers though as mowbray has announced he is leaving? . we will see!
Off to lugano vs grasshoppers Zurich tomorrow and milan fiorentina on Sunday (a bit of escapism from the Premier league)
Hopefully a win for the reds and blues this weekend and we all enjoy a happy Bank Holiday Monday!
