Just watched the play off game between Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday, which was some game, but Sunderland got a player called jack Clark, who looked really good.

Not sure he could make the step up to the prem but it's those types of players we should look at.

Young, talented, hungry players in the lower leagues who are willing to learn, improve and will give their all to be premier leagie players.

He’s on loan from Spurs. Spurs bought from Leeds a few years back - think he was a fair few million
Needs to kick on - my mates think he is decent however not bern played that much
He did play well tonight - not prolific for a winger/ striker - not all that sure he has ever scored a goal.

Nice one sobs. Just way he drove through the Wednesday midfield and set up the winner, the same thing we bought doucoure for, which hasn't really happened.

Knew he'd been at Leeds and on loan Stoke and somewhere else. Didn't know spurs bought him.

Must be loads of young players in 2nd and 3rd tier who can step up, similar to the model Palace are using.

Cahill, Lescott, Coleman all proof there are quality players in other leagues ?.

And plenty that were thought quality but never make the step up - Pennington, bowler, Baxter, Garbutt etc.

Wasn't it Jack Harrison that spurs got from Leeds Sobs? I may be wrong, but still, if he's good enough, cheap enough and not going to spend his whole contract out on loan, then why not.

We can all add to Sob's and Dan lists

Every transfer is a gamble - some work some don't - even when paying top dollar

Our success rate hasn't been good overall and we need to increase that success rate

Are we set up right? Do we have the right team? Will there be less involvement from FM and his advisors?

I guess we will find out come summer

I'm not totally confident.

Jack Harrison still at Leeds - they got him from Man City - I haven’t seen much of him play - says he was at Boro for a bit but I don’t remember him.

I’d like Spence (at loan at Forrest) from Boro but I’m guessing a few will.

{Ed077's Note - No. IIRC, Jack Harrison was at Liverpool and Man Utd before moving to the US on some sort of scholarship and later joining Man City. He then was loaned out to Leeds and later joined them permanently.

Maybe you should first give young Patterson a few games before signing his replacement?

I think the original post was about jack clark who is a winger / striker - not a right back.
