I know we have the ffp and the possible take over to contend with but seeing teams getting their transfer business done early whilst we are waiting for certain dominos do fall is so frustrating considering the changes we need to make with our squad.

There’s only been a few deals so far and of the teams in and around our position it’s only Newcastle and Leeds that appear to have done more business than us (Tarkowski apparently done and will be announced 1st July) .

Pointless comparing our business in the market to spurs and city as they’re on a completely different level to us.

The rest of the teams around us have done none or the odd signing i'm aware of.

Reckon come the 1st July when contracts end we’ll see several more deals within the league.

It looks like we have to sell before we buy and that we are looking at those players who's contracts are about to end. Think we will see some movement in first week of next month.

And like Tarkowski under contract until the end of June, so are Towson, Delph, Sigurdson, and we’re still paying their wages until then, I’m not sure if that’s the date old and new sponsorship finish and start, when more funds may be available, so 1st July should start things moving. Not only all that but Hummel hinted at the new kit being released in July, add to that the new main and sleeve sponsors will probably be getting put on I’d imagine any grand unveiling of a new signing will be in the new kit et al.

Think I read our financial year ends June 30th which could else explain why people are talking about July for activity because it would fall into the new financial year.
