He seemed really subdued in the dugout in the final couple of months and you could see this coming.

{Ed025's Note - your right reg ..

Don't think he has been looking happy for a while and think it's best for both club and dunc and wish him all the best.

Man’s a legend. End of story. Hope he finds a club that’ll give him a bit of time. Think he could do well at League 1 level, then who knows.

Surprised he’s gone, the way our finances are and with the players leaving I wouldn’t have been surprised if he’d have been given the No 9 shirt this season.

He says he has been playing with the idea for the last 6 months (I think) in his interview. That’s the length of time FL has been in post, wonder if it’s down to him not getting the gig and then realising that he will have to look elsewhere in order to progress to management? .
Really loved him ‘on his day’ and of course wish him all the very best. In my eyes - not a legend ‘yet’ but I can see why some fans think so who haven’t been blessed seeing the likes of Southall, Reid, Ratcliffe kick a ball in anger!

There is the FL angle but also the bottom not quite reaching the top strategic review of Clubs operation. Seems to me it is those on the middle rungs that leave or carry the can. So called New Management Strategy (30 ish years old) in action. The Club is a mess.
