Here’s a wierd one I was on ssn transfer centre and had a look on the betting specials to see who was favourite to sign who. ( note I don’t bet unless it’s the grand National that’s my limit )
Anyway it showed that we are favourites to sign Raheem Sterling wtf!
Transfer window is as mad as a fish in a hat.

The amount of money bet on transfers is quite low so they can be skewed by say a £50 bet on a player moving.
As soon as the bookies see money moving on a transfer the odds will change to match the betting.

Cheers Smitt, so either someone has thrown some money at RS coming to us, the bookies have baited a hook for someone to throw money at RS coming to us. Most likely I believe!

Speaking of betting on transfers, my friend received a call from Jason Koumas many years ago telling him to get some money on him joining Everton as he was on his way to sign in a taxi. My mate duly lumped a few quid on it only for Moyes to change his mind on the transfer at the very last minute!
