Been reading this website for years and first post.
Why do we always look back rather than forward, Allardyce, Moyes etc.
Why do we not look at fresh idea and managers?
Sooner or later Dyche will be sacked so why not be proactive and use the International break to get on with it.
Preferred choices Corberan, Potter or maybe Carsley once new England Manager found.

{Ed025's Note - welcome Pete, yeah mate i get trying someone new mate but feel re-employing Moyes is a move backwards, been there done that and i know some would welcome him with open arms but i remember the dross we used to play under him even with players that were miles better than what we have now, maybe i just dont want to be taking a knife to a gunfight again i suppose..

Thing is . we've had a rubbish team with a decent manager. then a rubbish manager with a decent team . sooner or later we will get both at the same time. I haven't changed my mind from day one SD is not an Everton manager for me.

Want a manager who actually believes we can win games regardless of who we are playing. Dyche, Moyes both in the same mould.
Wish we had gone for Arteta while still at City, but that ship has long sailed.
As for Potter, the guys sitting on a 5m payoff so why would he want the grief.

I remember after losing 3-1 to Wimbledon in the fa cup round Howard Kendall came out after the game and simply said that our clubs priority is always to win the league. We then went on and won the league.

He was a winner! No excuses, just the goal of winning the league. Then he left and we’ve not won it since.

Now we have Dyche and a sorry attitude that we are lucky to be in this league. Makes my blood boil!

Problem with any unproven or up and coming manager is our fan base patience, it's too quick to turn on any manager, player or member of coaching staff.

Moyes whilst a backwards step is basically saying listen I've had a hard day just want my comfy slippers the couch and brew.

Look at moyes, alladyce and carlo probably our best of the last few manager's, lamprd and martinez tactically inept benitez and dyche too stubborn and set in there ways, I forgot about koeman but he arrived along with several no 10's and probably didn't want to be here anyway.

I feel there's an appointment in the works thellwell has recruited non dyche players and I feel it's annoyed dyche, but it's hard to tell with all his blaming of everything but himself. But I could be wrong I've nothing to base that claim off.

looking forward to a rubbish manager with a rubbish team.

{Ed025's Note - im going to disagree with that sa, what i seen last Saturday was the makings of a decent side who absolutely battered Bournemouth for 86 minutes until the wheels came off, not happy with Dyche and would be gutted if moyes takes over but i have seen enough that when Jarrad is back and Broja is putting pressure on DCL that we will be competitive mate, we are staying up....and you can take that to the bank, COYB..

Agree Ed,

We played some decent stuff in patches last season. We just need to find some consistency and confidence, something Dyche isn't atm and a change of luck be nice. With you on Moyes mate, not for me, also don't think Potter is the answer but with the new signings and path Thelwell is going with recruitment then Potter be a better shout than this time last year.

{Ed025's Note - im just sick of dreading every Saturday Mocker and im fed up being negative all the time, i thought last week was the turning point...well for 86 minutes it was mate, our first team is good enough to compete i believe and we just need some strong leadership and yes a damn bit of luck..

Yep exactly same bud. Don't fancy us getting anything at Villa and be interesting seeing how players respond. Strong leadership is probably 1 of reasons don't fancy potter for task. We will no doubt hit a purple patch again this season and feel we will avoid another relegation scrap but going to be another season of what if. Talking survival beginning of September again just isn't good enough. We have the ingredients just need the chef to cook up something special. Have faith ed?.

{Ed025's Note - great analogy that Mocker, i do honestly believe we have the team to get us out of trouble but it will take everyone at the club to be pulling in the same direction mate..

Shouldn’t have got rid of Silva. He cared immensely and wanted to play the right way. He just inherited a sh** side and one that had been drilled by Allardyce previously.

If he had a younger jags and baines, I think things may have been different.

Should have given him more time to get rid of the inherited lazy wage thieving sh** houses e.g schneiderlin, tosun, Walcott.

Absolutely Bluenose. I know Ronny didn't endear himself due to his Dutchmen arrogance and his open obsession to become Barcelona boss but we definitely pulled the trigger too quick in him and then completely didn't learn the lesson and killed Silva far too early. I'm also convinced that as bad a dip in for as it was that we also didn't do ourselves any favours killing Bobby brown shoes. He was struggling that season and we did plummet but we'd have survived and he'd have learnt some vital skills. I do miss having a manager that has ambitions and takes risks. Certainly moss entertaining weekends and it was nice being spoken about as the science again. Our expectations were raised naively and we as fans got em all sacked. Unfortunately nobody's in charge or listening this time.

Think Koeman showed his ability with other squads - he never improved. We really did buy some awful players over that time.
