I've been for a walk and calmed down a bit. definitely a pen, even if it's soft, it was given and no grounds to rule it out as a clear and obvious error. Awful decision.
I know the bench was weak, but bringing Young on stopped any chance of breaking and putting them under pressure, poor decision. Great opportunity for a couple of the young lads, Dixon perhaps, not used. Gone from a draw that feels like a win to a draw that feels like a loss. Still, good signs that the goals will continue to come.

The pen was soft but shouldn't have been overturned. There wasnt enough to make it clear and obvious error however youngs reaction is what gives the ref a decision to make.
Moyes has brought some life back to you and eased relegation fears within weeks. A draw was probably fair in the end, but no one will want to come to goodison for the remainder of the season. Best of luck for what's left (except the derby ofc! ) .

For me it was very soft and the dive didn't help the var replays. It was ultimately a penalty for me not because I'm an EFC fan and bitter but because between the 2 CBs they both performed a half foul, both fouls were a little light, culminating in a full foul if you get what I mean?
{Ed025's Note - it was a pen FBS...pure and simple..

Pen or no pen we let them gather momentum and get back in the game, but a points a point we dropped 2 today but stole 3 last game it’s a funny old game and enjoyable again, onto the next.
{Ed025's Note - i felt like the boys were tired second half Wolf, thats where when you have a good squad you can put in great effort then rotate, maybe next season we will be stronger mate..

You don't get half fouls Formerly Brown Shoes but even so using your point of view it is still far from obvious. The bloke (VAR) not showing the obvious to the referee can only be explained by corruption/ bias/ cheating, so I suspect we will not receive a 'my bad'.

A shirt pull is a foul. It’s in the rules of the game. It happens all the time.
If it happens in the box, it’s a penalty. Regardless if he goes down a few seconds later, his shirt was pulled twice stopping him moving towards the ball.
If a player fouls another then another player kicks the ball away, the first foul is given and the second player receives a caution. In my eyes, the penalty should stand and Young cautioned for unsportsmanlike conduct.
