The rags really are comical. Saying we are thinking of selling Armstrong Blackburn for 10m. Really?
1.) 15 Apr 2025 19:42:03
I did see last week they wanted him on loan can't see us selling him myself.
2.) 16 Apr 2025 16:34:50
Armstrong is the future of this club, selling him would be mental.

Well players playing in European comps doesn't seem to have improved the England defence.
1.) 11 Jun 2025 08:56:18
Based on last night Branthwaite should walk into that side. But only if he signs for a Champions league team of course. Can’t have just anyone playing for England.
27 May 2025 11:58:59
I think if we got Delap he would become our new Latchford. Just need a Dave Thomas (Fellows maybe) to provide the ammunition.
1.) 27 May 2025 12:46:53
Been saying that BMD Delap, Fellows and Ndiaye behind would be some forward line, goals galore with those three.
2.) 27 May 2025 12:56:36
Personally not sure Delap would become new Latchford.
Latchford scored numerous headed goals for us, Delap hasn’t scored a headed goal all season so not sure that’s going to suddenly change.
Whilst his signature may improve the team there’s no guarantee he’d score many more goals at us compared to what he did at Ipswich this season.
Going to be interesting to see what our recruitment team do this summer - hopefully we don’t spend all summer chasing Delap and miss out on other targets - we’ve done this numerous times before focusing on trying to recruit a player.
By all accounts Delap may decide where his future lies this week - if it’s us great, if it’s not then that’s fair enough and his decision possibly won’t be a footballing one and that’s not the type of player we want.
Exciting times ahead.
3.) 27 May 2025 13:15:44
Delap 12 in 36. Beto 10 in 29. Is Delap coming in to support Beto?
4.) 27 May 2025 13:56:56
Shall we leave the Beto debate alone for one day?
5.) 27 May 2025 14:37:27
Remind me how old is Delap again?
6.) 27 May 2025 16:21:32
I can see what BB means. Bob was a big strong striker who didn’t just score headers. Delap is a big strong striker who at 22 is still improving, and would imagine he can head a ball.
7.) 27 May 2025 17:02:25
2 of Beto’s goals were against Tranmere remember. 8 in the prem vs 12 in the prem. You wonder how many Beto would have reached if he played 38 games.
For £30m, we could do a lot worse. £30m for a proven goal scorer who will hopefully get better with a few seasons and better service. How many times have we talked about getting players in who would battle for the ball. Beto and Delap would both do that.
The crucial thing is sorting out the service, especially the RW, so we can get balls in to both of them. O’Neil can whip them in, Ndiaye takes players on and Alcaraz attacks with the ball. Get a RW who can cross and beat a man then the balance would be great. Two options for up front in Beto and Delap… you start to feel we might cause teams to fear playing us again!
Saying all that, I think Delap will join Newcastle.
8.) 27 May 2025 17:20:17
I think it’s unfair to compare players from different eras of the game as there are too many variables. What we need to do is spend money on a striker who can get us 15 goals a season. So the question is will Delap be able to do that? From my perspective it could be a move that improves us.
19 May 2025 15:28:54
Shout out to Gingerdan. You have long supported Beto when many of us, myself included didn't rate him.
Well yesterday was the first time I got to see him in the flesh so to speak, and I made a point of watching his movement off the ball. This is something you don't see on tv.
Have to say I was impressed, the lad makes intelligent runs, but our midfielders are not good enough to supply him. He never stopped grafting all game, and was very unlucky with his two goals.
I am now of the opinion that with better coaching and a season in the Premiership under his belt he could well be a very useful player for us.
Just need a midfielder who can see that pass and not continuously go sideways and back.
Fair play to you Dan.
PS, I was ok till that violinist came on and that got me. Grown man crying oh dear.
1.) 19 May 2025 16:17:12
I love the guys eagerness, work rate and humility. If he stayed on side a bit more we would be talking more about his goal too.
2.) 19 May 2025 17:17:36
I read that he had 2 goals disallowed but when I watched MOTD there was no highlights or mention of it which I thought was strange.
3.) 19 May 2025 17:28:31
I am with you Ace.
4.) 19 May 2025 19:34:47
Don’t mind a player playing on the edge. Perhaps if we had players who could deliver an early ball then the lad wouldn’t get caught offside so much.
I am going by what I saw yesterday, and with good coaching this guy will improve.
{Ed025's Note - im yet to be convinced BMD, a good CF should always know where he is whether the ball comes in early or late, the odd time you can forgive but when its happening on a regular basis the questions have to be asked mate..
5.) 19 May 2025 21:12:14
Not his biggest fan, just in case any of you haven't noticed ?, but that eas one of his better performances yesterday. He stayed on his feet more, linked up play quite well and played a few good balls. Performances wise yesterday, i couldn't really fault the lad. On a personal level, he proper screwed me over for a couple of hundred quid. If he'd had watched the line and those goals weren't chalked off, my 4 nil and Ndiaye to score anytime would have come in. ?.
6.) 19 May 2025 22:25:56
Need a centre mid who can bring the ball forward and pick a pass and unfortunately we don't have one. With one of those Beto would be 12-18 goals a season.
{Ed025's Note - i dont think even if we had Wirtz, Rice and Yamal he would score that many Smit...just my opinion of course mate..
7.) 20 May 2025 01:07:03
Commentators said how everyone time beto gets the ball his 1st thought is to turn defenders and run goalwards. how many times did we see ball up to striker and he plays it back to midfield or even centre backs. Ndiaye is the same, get the ball and attack. I think with better players around him, beto could be a valuable squad player.
8.) 20 May 2025 10:07:37
I didn’t rate him until I seen him live myself albeit against Doncaster and Tranmere, not the highest measuring stick I know but he ran both defences raggged and at the end of the Tranmere game he ended up coming deep grabbing the ball and basicrunnng through the defence twice by himself and scoring the equaliser and the winner, he’s a top player just looks unorthodox because he’s gangly.
9.) 20 May 2025 18:07:50
My feeling on Beto is that he hasn't played a lot of games in his entire career. He scores goals but take Saturday as an example his footballing brain is extremely immature. He could clearly see he was offside for both of his gaols yet stayed in the offside position.
I would still keep him over Dom as back up to a new upgraded striker. Chermitti needs a season out on load but he has potential to be a top striker.
10.) 20 May 2025 22:26:55
Personally thought beto was excellent on Sunday. I am a fan as I love his passion and work rate. Plus his return in goals isn't half bad given the time he's had on the pitch. Not saying he's definitely the answer but there is no way I would be selling him anytime soon. Typical everton recent history is persevere with the likes of Holgate but then we have been far too quick to write players off without giving them a fair crack at the whip.
17 May 2025 12:59:34
Pickford, Tyrer
O'Brien, Branthwaite, Tarkowski
Mykolenko need a R/ B
McNeil, Garner, Iroegbunah, Ndiaye need C/ M
Beto, Chermiti, need C/ F
U21's
Armstrong, Dixon, Sherif,
So a R/ B, a C/ M ( could be Alcaraz) , and a Striker. Plus three good loan players in.
Don't think that's beyond the club now.
1.) 17 May 2025 14:49:26
That’s not including some of the squad players we will need.
2.) 17 May 2025 15:13:59
Well if we sign three and loan three then that would give us a squad of 21.
3.) 17 May 2025 17:35:52
I still believe we will make room for Braiden Graham in the first team squad next season. The kids going to be a star.
4.) 17 May 2025 18:24:36
He needs to go on loan till January, to learn how to play against men as u18 and u21 don't teach you how to play against a CB who's bigger older and wiser than you. If you play in Championship or League 1 he'll get a proper schooling like Harrison Armstrong and Rooney back in his day. Look what happened with Branthwaite.
5.) 17 May 2025 18:52:05
Wayne Rooney and Harrison Armstrong (although both excellent players) are on different levels. Braiden’s the closest player I’ve seen in my lifetime that’s anywhere near WR at 17 years old (who also didn’t get loaned out at all) . I don’t agree and I still could be wrong but I’d put good money on BG being involved in the first team squad next season.
6.) 17 May 2025 21:14:00
Rooney was far too good at 16 to loan out mate, he was straight in our first team squad. I think HA will get pre-season with is for Moyes to take a look at before any decision is made on him. I'm kind of passive on him in regards to whether he goes on loan or stays. He had a good loan period at Derby and he looks like he could do a job for us, but if it's decided that it would be best for another loan then I'd be happy with that also.
I'm with DPP, Braided Graham, from the little I've seen of him, looks like a super star in waiting. If he's good enough then I'm sure DM will give him game time in the coming season.
BMD, I'd say we definitely need another LB as well, either for cover or to make the position their own as we are a bit thin in that position just now.
16 May 2025 18:27:14
Hill Dickinson Stadium?
1.) 16 May 2025 22:12:32
lolllll.
2.) 17 May 2025 08:58:23
What are you laughing at? It's the largest deal in Europe? Shows how cleaver you are, you just stick to going to our old ground we gave you.
3.) 17 May 2025 11:11:35
Brilliant reply Skylark ?
I find it shocking how they can even post on this site to be honest. I have no interest in even typing them into the search engine let alone read there bs.
Another closet blue if you ask me mate.
4.) 17 May 2025 12:05:27
Generates a lot of money. You can carry on hoping Lego sponsors yours.
5.) 17 May 2025 15:33:34
Dunno what RD is laughing at? Or why he is on the Everton page? But it's just a name at the end of the day. I mean Analfield ????.
20 Jun 2025 11:29:53
Ah Mr Sarcasm has turned up I see.
19 Jun 2025 16:23:35
Is Grealish better than what we have? I would say so yes.
19 Jun 2025 16:21:48
Fellows getting a mention again now as well. Get him for 10m and that would be a decent bit of buisness.
08 Jun 2025 12:49:43
Good.
05 Jun 2025 16:48:09
Grealish is better than anything we have. The chances of getting him are probably close to Zero given the price quoted.
21 Jun 2025 20:11:18
Don’t think you will here anything till July, but would think plenty is going on in the background.
21 Jun 2025 20:09:08
Exactly LT the new owners are doing what we all wished Moshiri had done when he took over.
These guys are all experienced operators of football clubs. I for one think it will be interesting to see their vision for the club moving forward.
19 Jun 2025 16:24:27
Probably on holiday like Grealish ?.
19 Jun 2025 14:54:01
The only link to this lad was when Talk rubbish said he would be better coming to us than Liverpool or one of the other Sky Six.
All a load of cobblers.
19 Jun 2025 09:36:38
Completely turned Derbys season around. Ask their fans what he’s like, or better still watch the lad play.
Negativity of some supporters just does my head in.
