I know that he is interim England Head Coach but that presumably is only temporary, so how about Lee Carsley for our next Manager? Young, not old school, knows the young players, is a good coach and has good management skills according to reports and has a good reputation!

Me too I like the cut of his job. He's done very well so far and obviously has a couple of games. Hopefully he does well and gives the FA a real dilemma. He is the proper choice for the England job because that's what the entire St Georges park project is all about. But if fan power forces the FA to look for a big name, we should definitely give the guy a call.

I am full of good sensible suggestions Scottish Toffee, problem nobody including the television listens. During the game the other day I was screaming for Dixon and O'Brien to be brought on put to no avail. I am just wasting my time and bringing my blood pressure up to unhealthy levels. At 84 you would think that I would have more sense!

Hahaha its easily done. It is incredibly frustrating watching the club you love make bad decision after bad decision. and get payed millions to do it. Here's hoping for some more positive times ahead.

I suggested carsley last season when we wanted rid of SD and got slated because he doesn't have any experience in the premier league. oh how time's change lol ? ? I actually put £20 on him being are nxt manager and got 40.1 so I hope we do get him the under 21s play decent football and he only has a week or so with them to get how he wants to play. so how come SD has been in charge for 20 months and we are a shambles still. ?????.

I get loyalty, but that should never come at the team’s detriment.
I’d also ask if that makes O’Brien fourth choice centre half then?

Pointless dropping Keane for this game when he's played OK so far this season, obviously I'd prefer he was on the bench tho. When were going into the international break and will be playing behind closed doors friendlies to give the likes of dele, O'brien, mangala Dixon and jesper etc runs out. I fully expect a massive improvement after that break.

Pointless dropping Keane when he's been playing ok? We've been hammered in our first 2 prem games where he is centre back. He is rubbish and I'm sure every opposition team target him as a weak link.

How many of them were from errors by Keane? Pretty much the whole team were poor. I'm happy to criticise players if needs be, but I'm not going to single out 1 player because everyone else does. Pickford gifted spurs a goal, why mot single him out and call for him to be dropped?

I won't believe any incoming or out going players until it is officially announced and even then I will have some anxious thoughts that somehow we could screw it up. In the meantime ignore all the speculation, the press make things up as they go along.

James Rodriguez is reported to be joining Rayo Vallecano instead of us, he evidently did not fancy sitting on our bench! Pity really, past his best but he did bring a bit of excitement to our game which is surely lacking right now.

Well for those who think that we cannot or will not fire Dyche let's look at the takeover situation. Now I am a prospective buyer, do I want a Premiership team or a Championship team? What is the difference in price? What will the attendance be at the new stadium if we are in the Championship verses the Premiership?
If we are relegated how much worse will our financial situation be and what would Moshiri expect for his worthless shares? I think that Dyche has maybe four more games and if the team gives the same performance as they have in the first two he is gone and we are in deep doo-doo.

Very interesting but it is not just about statistics but about the entertainment quality. Yes it is nice to win and it is a business so winning more than loosing is necessary. But it also has to be entertaining and of such quality that you want to watch more of it and it will attract more supporters. SD quality football is just dire and after a while even born and raised Evertonians like myself will tire of it and I can't imagine anyone who begins to support a club would pick Everton under SD.

I believe anyone either at Goodison or watching on TV could have done a better job at managing substitutions than SD. I just can't understand how the guy can be so thick, it's fine to blame the players but SD has a squad to use and manage and he does a lousy job game after game. I don't want Moyes back but if SD does not start winning some games I can't see the board (or whoever is running the club) having much choice, who else would take on the job?

Ed025 are you morphing into a GB? All a matter of opinion mate and I hope you are correct and SD morphs into a good manager but IMHO we need a new and younger replacement who can manage games better, uses the best player available and not his favorites, and knows when to bring on substitutes!
{Ed025's Note - im not trying to make excuses for him Mike im just trying to be positive mate, i seen enough out there yesterday to believe we have a fighting chance if the game management is better, im sick of dreading watching us and before the capitulation was grinning like a Cheshire cat, but its last chance saloon now for Sean and i think he knows it..

All very true Ed025 we did play well until the final minutes but we lost the game. Coleman was out injured just over a week ago and played on Tuesday and was spent by the end of the game. We have a healthy, young and fast kid in Dixon on the bench who should have been won at the 70th minute. O'Brien should have been on for Keane at the same time and our most creative player who they had three players around is taken off and the waste of time that is Doucoure is brought on to replace him. This defeat is solely at the hands of SD, mark my words regardless of the talent that you quite rightly say we have in our squad if they are not managed properly you have plenty of savvy managers that will exploit our weaknesses week in week out.
{Ed025's Note - all good points you make Mike and in no way am i giving Dyche a walkover mate, his use of subs had always been a problem but sometimes a manager can be in a no win situation, if he had brought on the likes of Obrien and Dixon and we had lost we would all have been asking why he changed things i suppose...damned if you do damned if you dont, im saying that was an anomaly yesterday and i seen a team that will do ok despite of the manager not because of him...my cup is still half full..
