Richard Keys saying Usmanov had lost interest in Everton, and Moshiri is actively trying to sell the club.

Bluedanny1982

1.) 30 Nov 2021 13:06:35
I will offer £100 take it or leave it.

2.) 30 Nov 2021 17:15:50
Deal!

3.) 30 Nov 2021 19:49:38
Right bye Bill? bye Brandsy? bye Rafa? bye Dunc?
bye Unsy?. Think this is going to take a while.

4.) 30 Nov 2021 20:17:29
I thinks its just one of Richard Keys's many flights of fancy personally.

5.) 30 Nov 2021 22:25:04
all denied apparently, moshiri and usmanov still here for the long term.

6.) 01 Dec 2021 13:46:59
Richard Keys is about as reliable as the msm! He says it's his mate feeding him this info, so why doesn't Andy Gray put him in his place? Surely he will have contacts in the club that can verify that Keys chats absolute bs.
Not sure how old the video is, I only seen it yesterday, but there's one doing the rounds of him working on one of our games. Him and AG were standing in front of the big screen as Z cars begins to play. The sirens are wailing in the background and Keys cuts in and asks if it was a fire alarm! The man is a clown shoe.

7.) 01 Dec 2021 22:34:21
It’s Richard keys, no billionaire would buy a club start to build a stadium whilst looking to sell, if he was then it would be when the stadium is built so it would be more sellable.

8.) 02 Dec 2021 19:41:52
Quite amazed how the sexist dollop gets work.

17 Oct 2021 06:55:16
Any serious danger of Benitez being lured back to the Newcastle job Ed002?

Bluedanny1982

{Ed002's Note - I would not think so.}

03 Aug 2021 18:52:10
Any shred of credibility in the Marcos Asensio to everton murmurs Ed002?

Bluedanny1982

{Ed002's Note - Marco Asensio (RW/LW) Goals have dried up and his representative is workin with a third-party agent to find a club willing to pay something like €40M for the player. The third party has said that the player ideally wants a club in the Champions League but the discussions he has had have been with Leicester City and Leeds so far and admits knocking on the door of other PL clubs including Arsenal. Real Madrid may be open to using him in a part exchange deal of some type.}

1.) 03 Aug 2021 19:11:40
Thanks Ed, there was a quite a buzz about this player 2-3 years ago, 40 million is speculative surely, even disregarding the economic impact of C.V., he seems to have stagnated terribly.

{Ed002's Note - Correct.}

2.) 04 Aug 2021 21:11:39
He's just scored a belter for Spain though.

10 Jan 2021 09:56:14
Any substance in the Josh king to Everton murmurs in the rags today Ed002?

Bluedanny1982

{Ed002's Note - It has to be possible as Everton have previously shown interest, and Bournemouth are keen to sell now as he will be out of contract in the summer. Newcastle have had an offer for JK rejected and offers may well be coming from West Ham and West Brom.}

1.) 10 Jan 2021 10:23:46
Talk of Kenny or Branthwaite going the opposite direction, happy for Kenny to go but think letting Branthwaite go would be a mistake.

2.) 10 Jan 2021 10:35:15
Letting Branthwaite go would be a massive mistake. I believe him and Godfrey could be a future centre back partnership for years to come.

3.) 10 Jan 2021 10:35:17
Much obliged Ed.

4.) 10 Jan 2021 11:17:00
The report doesn’t state whether they want our player out loan or permanently, if on loan and given game time I would like Branthwaite given the experience
If permanently then maybe time for Kenny to move.

5.) 10 Jan 2021 12:49:35
If Branthwaite going surely would only be a loan.

6.) 10 Jan 2021 15:04:59
Is he any better than Toson?

7.) 10 Jan 2021 21:10:49
Surely not isn't he another left winger?

8.) 11 Jan 2021 13:47:54
Pretty sure he’s a CF but can play across the front line. Could be wrong though.

06 Jan 2021 19:42:44
Anything on Everton pursuing Zeki Celik, Turkish right back playing for Lille Ed002.

Bluedanny1982

{Ed002's Note - Zeki Celik (RB) Last summer Lille were willing to sell for €20M and don't want to negotiate too far from that amount. The player was looking to move to England at some point and the asking price has proven too high for Villareal who were offered to opportunity to bid for him. West Ham, Everton and Spurs showed an interest. Roma approached Lille before Christmas and are now trying to negortiate a deal.}

1.) 06 Jan 2021 20:15:51
Nice one Ed!

If Vitor perieira is appointed as the everton manager, then I'm through with it, lunatics have taken over the asylum if that happens, his resume is absolutely unremarkable at best, at worst its rubbish.

Bluedanny1982

02 Oct 2021 21:04:33
I was a Rafa pessimist when he was appointed this Summer, I was against his getting the job more out of worry what would happen if he had got off to a bad start, I feel it would have been embarrassing for the club if our fans were booing and demonstrating against the manager so early in his tenure, but to be fair to him, he hasn't put a foot wrong, his tactical nous is really pleasing, his attitude and enthusiasm is refreshing after the previous 3 managers, his signings have been superb, long may it continue.

Bluedanny1982

1.) 02 Oct 2021 22:58:18
Glad your happy bd!
Rafa is a class act and an exact fit for where we r now ??
Glad u have balls to admit u were wrong ?? Hope more Blues admit.

{Ed0666's Note - is this when I tell you I I told you so…I told you so

2.) 02 Oct 2021 23:03:52
No! ?
Wait till we win league Smug Smart Arse 66!

{Ed0666's Note - how can you possibly win a competition with Liverpool FC in it? Rafa is a damn fine soccer coach not a magician.

3.) 02 Oct 2021 23:13:44
I don’t expect Everton to win the league the year but I’m happy with Rafa! I don’t think u believe Liverpool will win the league either 66!
Maybe u need Rafa, but I’m happy cis I h ok early believe he will go nowhere and is the right fit to guide us onwards and upwards to our new stadium which u RedSh will only be jealous of!
COYB!

{Ed0666's Note - Why do people try and abbreviate when they post? I was born a hundred years ago and I have no clue about this new text language. I’m trying to think of a retort but I have no idea what you said. Yes you will have a superb stadium, I’ll deffo be jealous and good for you bro it’s been a long time coming.

4.) 02 Oct 2021 23:22:08
Good on u 66 for posting my reply!
Good to see u (you) redsh (reds) can take banter!
Luv (Love) it!
???.

{Ed0666's Note - mate I’m a secure individual. There’s no way I wouldn’t post criticism or abuse of me as it doesn't affect me as marriage has that effect. ?

14 Aug 2021 10:28:35
Ed002,
If everton finish this transfer window with a net spend of approx 2 million pounds, but also don't manage to sell any of the players who would bring in significant transfer fees, but also don't sign any more players at all, will the club have more room for manoeuvre next summer, or is off setting clubs losses impossible without player sales? I know increasing commercial income is fainly possible, but the club as it stands would struggle to attract andy serious blue chip partners.

Bluedanny1982

{Ed002's Note - Net spend on transfer fees is of no relevance for anything.}

1.) 14 Aug 2021 14:23:56
If you owe money it is debt. If you are unable to service that debt it is called deficit (outgoings outstrip income) . The way I see it, FFP works along the same lines but with some financial leeway. I don't know the exact figure and neither do I have an economics degree, masters or otherwise. Just trying to use commonsense. I just take my clues from SWIMBO, she seems to manage our household okay. As far as I can see Everton will be okay.

{Ed002's Note - You don't seem to understand the situation at all. Just drop all of the discussion about finances.}

2.) 14 Aug 2021 23:37:12
Ed002 well done!

08 Aug 2021 08:15:55
After watching the game yesterday, I am more pessimistic than ever, especially as it seems that Benitez is going to use zonal marking, we will struggle to create, we will struggle for goals, and by the looks of it will struggle to stop them aswell, unless players arrive before the window shuts the outlook is bleak, nobody can deny it, that squad of players as it stands will seriously struggle to make top half.

Bluedanny1982

{Ed025's Note - we just have to live in hope danny, its not looking very promising i must say but you never know mate..

1.) 08 Aug 2021 09:29:50
I think we will be just fine, give Rafa time he’ll get us winning games, we just need to be realistic and temper our expectations, it’s a season or two of rebuilding and Rafa is the perfect man for the job. If we all start the season with a negative attitude it won’t help the club or players. Once we get back to a full Goodison, we need to get behind the team; as last season showed, the team need us.

2.) 08 Aug 2021 11:50:23
I hope you are right swinners, I refrained from criticism of the manager, I realise he needs to be given time, but if FFP dictates that we can cannot improve the squad, then Benitez or any other manager would struggle to get a tune out the players that we have, its one thing signing players, but another to improve the squad, I can't help thinking any further signings we make, will be purely about having more legs, I don't see us improving the quality.

3.) 08 Aug 2021 12:09:58
I thought that the one thing that we could depend on Benitez for would be organisation. The team would not fall apart. Evidently my mistake.

{Ed025's Note - he has to be given time glennk, he will be trying his best but its not easy when your hands are tied, dont read anything into yesterday mate it was a run out with a scratch side and only the third game in the rafa era, hopefully we will be in better shape on saturday and see some progress..

4.) 08 Aug 2021 16:24:09
Better to judge him when we next play Utd. We’ve set a bench mark; now let’s go smash it!

31 Jul 2021 11:08:32
People will bring up James Rodriguez's appearances. or lack of them for everton last season, but his stats hold up against anyones, I can't believe Rafael Benitez is willing to let the one world class player we have leave the club, what's the alternative in the number 10 role? Iwobi? Rodriguez doesn't possess pace, he does however possess vision, awareness, deftness of touch, an eye for a pass, long range shooting ability quality crossing. can anyone give me a list of Alex Iwobis attributes and make an honest comparison.

Bluedanny1982

1.) 31 Jul 2021 13:17:18
His passing and ability not in doubt but there is no doubt that playing him on the right encouraged opposition to attack us down that side and the majority of the time it was easy for them. A coach such as Rafa will not accept it abd good for him.

2.) 31 Jul 2021 13:44:20
So don't play him on the right, let play 10, manage his games effectively and he will be an asset, we have enough legs in midfield with Allan, Doucoure and Davies etc to cover for his lack of defensive work rate.

3.) 31 Jul 2021 14:09:44
I think he is using gray as the number 10 at the minute. Maybe that's his plan for the team. He looked good in that role from what I've seen.

4.) 31 Jul 2021 15:27:54
Whilst wouldn’t want to see Rodriguez go it does make sense from a business perspective.

Cost us nothing.
Only a 2 year deal so can leave on a free next year.
Probably on a decent wage.

If we can sell him this transfer window will make some money which we could potentially re-invest and also removes a high wage of the wage bill.

5.) 31 Jul 2021 15:32:57
Point being it didn't work last season. CA was pretending to be our Manager, Rafa wants to be here, we either trust his methods or hire another plane with a banner.

6.) 31 Jul 2021 18:25:13
James is worth keeping around for another year as he raises our profile. If he goes we have no player with world class status.

7.) 31 Jul 2021 19:46:12
Sheedy unfortunately we do have one other player who currently has world class status - unfortunately all for the wrong reasons though 😬.

8.) 31 Jul 2021 20:17:35
A good post DFS totally agree mate.

9.) 01 Aug 2021 02:17:49
Point being DFS that it worked even less last season when Rodrigues wasn't playing, we still haven't got a new RB and we are nowhere near getting a right sided attacking midfield

Without Rodrigues where's out creativeness going to come from?

Benitez still has time to sort it out but he hasn't yet.

Marco Silva more or less had the same, he finished 8th, he had to go in the end though, Ancelotti had roughly the same as Silva minus idrissa Gueye, he finished badly last year, but was still in with a shout of 4th with about 6-7 games remaining, Benitez has roughly the same minus Rodriguez, plus he has forced Digne out of the club, and he was one of the main creators for DCL, Rafas excuses are wearing thin, if he sets up negatively against the weakest side in the league, and we have a poor result because of it, he should be relieved of duties after the match.

Dumfries would be a poor signing in my opinion, he would get found out really quickly in the Premier league, defensively naive and all his attributes are physical.

Everyone was as optimistic as you at that time bw, I clearly remember the weeks leading up to when Moise Kean signed, Ed002 assured us he would not be signing for Everton. then he did sign, then Ed002 predicted it would all end in tears. and it did, hindsight is brilliant, but I don't remember many evertonians being pessimistic in any of the Summers between 2016-2020, we were all expecting good things for each of the coming seasons, it all went tits up when they gave Benitez the job, it looked promising in those first few games, then the reality of things started to sink in, they should have let Ferguson have the job in the Summer, Benitez was only real avoidable error that Moshiri has made in my opinion.

That is correct ed0666, we come on here for banter, I thought you and I were bantering back and forth, but alas it seems I have stung you somehow, I would like to place on record my unreserved apologies. incidentally, I do like your style, I wouldn't post otherwise, just slightly surprised at your reactions when someone "banters" back, but going forwards, I will endeavour to avoid hiring your feelings wilfully or otherwise. untill next time, take care of yourselves. and each other.

Come on ed0666, I know comments represent a deep, subconscious desire to amuse, but your act is old now, can't you come up with any interesting insights into what's happening at everton, at least Ed002 knows stuff, even if he is sarcastic, and sometimes slightly abrasive, he's funny because you get the feeling he really doesn't give two hoots about football fans in general, you just seem to have an axe to grind.

Bluedanny1982

{Ed0666's Note - I do apologize chum I’ll put my subconscious axe away and be a better person just for you. I’m so glad you have given me this life lesson as I really wasn’t happy as the man I was becoming. How could I go through life taking the piss out of Everton fans and garnishing joy from that ? Deep down I know it wasn’t giving me any pleasure it was me trying to deflect my own teams deficiencies as they haven’t won a trophy since 1995 those halcyon days when Robson & Jerome were top of the charts and John Major was the PM. Get over yourself mate this isn’t a therapy class it’s a banter site. You come on here expect the piss to be taken. If you don’t like my style then you don’t have to post.
