Only Swans, Stoke and Huddersfield have a worse goal difference than us. Let's hope that won't be a factor at the end of the season. Apparently Fat Sam in the past has been to America and studied new sports science breakthroughs and is a forward thinking manager? Laughable, his decision making is dire. At my work place he'd have been told to take his tools and F off site. Moshiri's advisors need to be made accountable too, this mess goes to the top.

Can someone please tell me what SA did in his career to warrant getting the Everton job because what I can see is a dinosaur of a manager so far out of his depth it’s unreal where’s all the guys calling for him to get an improved contract after four games can anyone seriously tell me that Dyche or Howe wouldn’t have did a better job than this fraud.

Us mere fans are not often privy to what goes on behind the scenes but do any of the eds have any inkling of player unrest in the dressing room? I mean do they ever speak out against him or question his decision making? Did Mirallas perhaps do this and Koeman has made an example of him? The guy just seems so detached from the fans and the team that I think everyone struggles to warm to him. His arrogance will be his downfall.

What have Mirallas and Lookman got to do to start a game? This is just too slow and predictable.

I agree ed but I bet he looks amazing in training with all that sideways passing.

Any chance the travelling fans can get a refund from Koeman's and the players' pockets? They should be ashamed, Koeman especially. and I thought Martinez was arrogant and stubborn with his poor choices and tactics!

New poster here so go easy on me! Go to about 3 or 4 games a season and by no means an expert or as knowledgable as some but here goes; Koeman's interview he says his team are passive. Really? So sitting on your arse in the dugout the whole game, arms folded muttering to yourself and looking disinterested isn't passive? He needs to get on the touch line screaming and directing the dross he's selected, kicking and heading every ball and show us fans he's got passion and that may translate to the pitch. It's time to drop Barry I'm afraid, you can't build a young hungry team around him, he slows everything down. Coleman needs benching for Holgate and it's time to call on 3 or 4 of the under 23's to replace the likes of Cleverly, McCarthy, Mirrallas, the gulf between them and the first team and under 23's can't be as huge as we're told it is. 5 or 6 of those starters out there today are simply not good enough. Williams has started to worry me too. I could go on but it's my first post so I'll stop before I need to check my blood pressure and gaskets.

You have some valid points mate. But we are all emotional at the moment and over reactions is not what is needed. The fact he sits and watches is not the problem. But some of your other points are worth noting.

2.) 10 Dec 2016 16:21:06
Good points newcomer. We ave some players turning up for a few games a season. Thought they plsyed well in the middle with little in the final third. Back to the martinez defending today, as for them using mobiles in the dressing room they should be bsnned.

3.) 10 Dec 2016 23:05:54
Don't forget at the time we went 1-0 up we were in complete control, however as normal at that point we took our foot of the pedal and coasted, but once they got one they could see we were rocking and they went for the kill!
Our reaction as last week was to chase the game late on in fact to late! This is RK's criticism out us being reactive not proactive!
A lack of a real winner or leader in our ranks, even Williams had a horror game today!

{Ed025's Note - williams did stink the house out mate..

That dross today is on Ancelotti. Playing 2 players as wing backs who shouldn’t be anywhere near the first 11 meant we were playing 5 at the back, at home! I know people say we shouldn’t criticise him because of his pedigree and experience but Leeds pulled our pants down good and proper today. If it wasn’t for short arms it could have been 4 or 5. We just don’t have enough players who can run hard and fast for a whole game to compete. Forget skill, we do have plenty of that. Training needs to be on fitness and closing down. We were lucky against Fulham last week. 4 loses out of 5 now, we’ll be bottom half of the table in the next 2 or 3 games.

{Ed025's Note - selections are baffling to say the least MJB, i dont hold much store by reputations its the now that matters, its early days yet but we do need to see progress mate..

Championship level at best BB, you’re being too kind. I’ve seen better in the Ryman. I’m not joking. Has been said many times already but they look like they can't be bothered. They’re lucky Goodson isn’t packed to the rafters, they can't hear the booing through the telly. Recruitment in the summer should be 4 or 5 absolutely rapid grafters who can move the ball (and the team) forward hard and fast. and for the lazy ones (the majority! ) ) we need to recruit a drill sergeant.

Very difficult to see where points will come from considering we’ve been dire against Fulham, Newcastle twice, West Ham, Southampton and struggled against Sheffield united. We’re a really poor side. No urgency, no midfield engine and no playmakers. If Soggy, Coleman and Iwobi start at the weekend then I’ll be following Skylark. This squad has sucked any positivity I had for this season out of me.

We are dire Brassington. It’s a fluke we’re in the top 10. Leeds will be licking their lips after this tripe serving. We were lucky to get a point against Leicester the other day. My Nan could cut through our midfield on her zimmer and it isn’t even the one with wheels. Hopefully several of them will be out the door by the summer. No hunger, bite and I dare say some of them probably couldn’t care less if we lose. I don’t mind losing but losing with no fight really grates.

Couldn’t agree with you more Uran. This site for a lot of us is our only escape to get things off our chests. I haven’t got a cat to kick so sometimes have to be a keyboard warrior with the distant hope that Carlo sometimes reads these threads.! Big Dunc seems to be doing his job with DCL but he must be wondering (like the rest of us) wtf is going on with imposing pace, grit and steel in the defence and midfield?
I’m hoping the manager isn’t using us as some kind of experiment to blood his son and play trial and error, us fans deserve more than that but like Skylark insinuated, something is deeply troubling within our club and we just don’t seem to improve like other teams do. Can we really blame the last few managers? Is Carlo as culpable as Martinez, Koeman, Fat Sam and Silva? We’ve had 9 managers since Moyes left in June 2013, i know ones like Joe Royle and Big Dunc were temporary custodians but can we keep blaming the Managers? We hear a lot abut these great youngsters coming through the youth development but just seem to disappear with hardly any opportunity given in the first 11 so I wonder what Rhino’s role is in feeding them into the first team squad. Are the youth scouts doing their jobs properly? I know they don’t public release stuff but it’d be interesting to read some club stats/ data/ progress reports on each player from the techie software clubs use these days and we’d be able to see where Gordon, Simms etc are compared to Soggy, Gomes et al. If Davies comes in at full back against Chelsea and we end up with a back 5 again its going to be another miserable weekend next week. Hopefully the January transfer window will bring in some seriously hard working players. I’m sick of seeing the reds fill their first team with youth and still trouncing teams. Still so many question marks but now it’s over to you Mr Brands.

We’ve got Sheffield united on Boxing Day, what’s the betting they’re still rock bottom but they still beat us? That’s how confident this squad of players make me feel. I can’t watch us anymore. Ancelotti is lucky the fans aren’t allowed into Goodison yet. He’s getting away with poor results that would be the end of other managers.
