Henan has signed a 5 year deal with us, will be confirmed some time today! :-)

Siefc30

1.) 02 Aug 2014 14:23:10
If true that's fantastic news

2.) Erm, no he hasn't. Haven't finalised terms with Anderlecht yet. Still protracted negotiations ongoing

Apparantley Chelsea are in discussions to sell Torres to athleticto Madrid for 13 million, if that true maybe we should stick a bid in! Lukaku won't be going anywhere if Torres is sold!

Siefc30

1.) Stick a bid in are you serious? Torres is shocking I'd rather play one of the kids. It seems to me bobby is determined to get lukaku and he's willing to wait untill the last minute again to get him. I just hope it doesn't backfire I firmly believe if we'd of had barry and lukaku from the start last season we would have made the top 4, but martinez has a vision and he knows what players fit Iin to that vision. I trust him completley.

2.) Torres, come here? Are you mad? I'd sooner wipe my backside with a broken bottle than see him in our shirt. Also, he's garbage, too old and finished. Massive no for me on this!

3.) I'm willing to bet that you wouldn't actually wipe your arse with a broken bottle! That would be stupid :-)

4.) 21 Jul 2014 11:19:01
Please tell me you're joking

5.) Ok ok calm down I retract my original post!

6.) @ siefc, not As stupid as bidding for Torres ;) ha ha

Few rumours coming out of the club that lukaku has signed! Believe it when I see it! Also besic is close! But he has been close for weeks now!
Let's see what the week brings

Siefc30

1.) 18 Jul 2014 12:14:39
I thought he was on holiday. I fear us waiting round too long for him, and we possibly lose other targets. The silence is deafening. AGAIN . But, IMWT

2.) If he had signed it would be announced! Why do people think that the club would keep it a secret for a bit if someone signed. If and when anyone signs it will be plastered all over the OS with " " on it they wouldn't sign a player then keep it a secret for days, what would be the point in them doing that it makes no sense.

3.) We are not getting lukaku I repeat we are not getting lukaku

4.) I think you're right John and I think it's time we moved on and got on with bringing players that are keen to come to us not someones second or 3rd best!

14 Jul 2014 13:15:39
United sign a deal with Adidas worth a minimum of 750 million over 10 years, 75 million a year! The rich get richer :-(

Siefc30

1.) About 2.5 times bigger than the previous record (Real Madrid) showing how FFP will balance the playing field.

2.) They need the extra money to overspend and waste on players like Fellaini & Shaw!

3.) To be fair, ManUtd have been a worldwide brand for decades - not just during SAF's tenure, but since the days of the Busby Babes (and their early European campaigns) and the marketing of their "star" players like Best and Charlton. As a club, they readily embraced European football - and televised games - while our club had a board of directors who were stuck in the mindset of the maximum wage, retain and transfer contracts for players, regarding fans as a captive audience of the great unwashed, absolutely minimum live (or any) televised football, and other antediluvian attitudes. Thank goodness that Sir John Moores came along in the early 1960s - not only to provide vital funding, but also some up-to-date thinking. Nowadays, of course, the so-called elite clubs are - with the apparent compliance (intended or otherwise) of FIFA, UEFA, the FA, etc. - making sure the big money stays within the big clubs and the rest feed on the crumbs. It's much more difficult for a club to break through - or be consistently successful - without massive investment.
Everton suffered more than most by the European ban on English clubs, but we had ample opportunity beforehand - and plenty of time since then - to establish ourselves. Thankfully, RM might get us close to getting some success.

4.) 14 Jul 2014 16:56:03
Ffp is a load of bs anyway if u sign a player for 20 mil but he signs 5 yr deal they divide it over the years so actually instead of 20 mil on ya expenses at end of year it only counts as 4 mil what a waste of time it actually is.

Siefc30

We have the best team we have had in a long time so why are we so poor? I don't buy the "Martinez poor tactics" talk because the team are good enough to play anyway they are told and it's the same tactics as last season and we only just missed out in champs league! So what is it? Very frustrated with the Xmas results something better change soon.

Siefc30

1.) There is your answer, same tactics as last season, therefore we have been found out and tactical geniuses such as Mark Hughes, Steve Bruce, Neil Warnock to name but a few have nulified these tactics and beaten us. As for the players, its clear they see its not working and therefore its a case of has he lost the confidence of these players? Am afraid it looks like he has and therefore we need a new lease of life or we are gonners!

2.) It's obvious the Manager is at fault! clueless subs, playing people outta position apparently not practising corners or free kicks when trg. He has lost respect from the players that's why they are not responding, Sorry he needs to go as I don't see where any points are coming from at the min.

Just watched the press conference and I'm absolutely made up that Barkley has signed but I can't help feel a little bit disappointed that it was the only thing to be announced? Was hoping for a signing or stadium talk, everton didn't call a press conference for Martinez or Coleman extending contracts so Obvisouly I was expecting something else! But it's good news so onwards and upwards lukaku next please :-)

Besic is more or less confirmed as an everton player then ( on everton website) so that's 1 down 2/3 to go! :-)

Finally some positive news regarding transfers, bobby has said 3 or 4 to comie in very soon!
Who do we think we are signing ed? Or anybody else? Cheers

Siefc30

1.) Henen, Besic and Galloway with maybe Adama/Lucina Traore on loan. Not a marquee one among them but maybe Lukaku will be one??

2.) 24 Jul 2014 16:02:37
Besic, galloway, henen and hopefully rom or bony

{Ed025's Note - iwould take that mate..

3.) 24 Jul 2014 19:45:17
Swan: your list looks pretty darn good to me :-)

4.) I would hope for one more big signing on top of that swan and I'm sure we will see a loan or two

5.) Doesn't this just equate to the same squad size as last year with maybe a couple of youngsters thrown in but a lot more games, I fear a struggle and I dread to think if we lost a couple of players

14 Jul 2014 16:00:18
5 live games for the blues between august and November, that's pretty good for us :-)

Siefc30

1.) That's just Premier League. I imagine that our six UEFA Europa League group stage games will also be live - hopefully on free-to-air channels.
Depending on the draw, we might have live Capital One Cup matches as well.
This looks good for the fans who can't get to the midweek matches or travel away (especially in Europe) because of work and/or expense.

2.) Don't you stream Sid? I live abroad but never miss a game.

3.) Steverton: which streaming site(s)do you use?

4.) 14 Jul 2014 22:52:24
Eplsite.com Sid. U got to find and click all the crosses to remove the ads, but after that the stream is decent.

5.) I usually go through wiziwig.tv plenty of streams on there.

I'm struggling to understand how man city can ask for money for a player who is no longer on there books! If Barry is a free agent what's to stop him just agreeing to out terms and signing? How can City stop him if he is a fee agent?

Nice touch, I would like to add to that by offering my condolences to the families of everybody who was aboard that plane! If frustrates me when the news and papers report tragedies like this and make a point of saying how many Brits were affected! Shouldn't matter about the peoples nationalities they were all human. Very sad time for all involved!

Thankyou ed that's all I was really saying, maybe bojan would reach his potential! But it's neither here or there as we won't be interested! Was just an obversation as I saw stoke may be interested :-)

I wasn't comparing him to Barry ed if you read my comment again you will see I was saying that Barry wasn't having a great time before we loaned him, and look how he turned out! But like you I am entitled to my opinion and that was it.

Siefc30

{Ed007's Note - Yeah, Barry's career was a total mess before Everton swooped for him.}

Gareth Barry wasn't exactly setting the world alight when we loaned him! Under Martinez bojan could get his career back on track!

Siefc30

{Ed007's Note - It's not about getting his career back on track it's the fact that he is nowhere near as good a player as people expected him to be. Roma, Milan and Ajax all had the option to make moves for him permanent and didn't, he's been passed around Europe like a scud-book in the jail. I have no idea why you would even compare him to Barry, it's like comparing Pink Floyd and One Direction.}

I'm pretty sure Martinez has said that he would like Barry to stay, I'm also sure he said that he will give him time and respect his choice! And I'm 100% certain that this is a rumour site so posters don't really have to think about things before posting, if this was a 'fact'site then I would understand your response but it's not so chill out!
