Found out a couple of things about Beto today, he's a boyhood blue and used to call himself Beto'o and apparently he's there fastest player in our squad, so why have we been hitting it high and long all season?
1.) 02 Feb 2025 17:54:56
For answers to things like this…. drop Dyche a call.
2.) 02 Feb 2025 18:25:14
I'm thinking we're going to see what betos all about now we're starting to play football that includes getting service to the front men reckon he will get 15 between now and end of season.
3.) 02 Feb 2025 19:43:30
Goal a game? that'd be welcome. You sticking a bet on?
4.) 02 Feb 2025 19:44:43
Don’t forget: he scored twice against a poor Leicester side. 10-15 between now and the end of the season? If he gets 5-8 more he’ll have done well.
21 Jan 2025 14:52:48
5 wins and we're safe, watched mnf last night and carragher made a point Leicester Southampton aren't getting over 36 points and I doubt Ipswich will, Moyes will have us sat around 13th end of season.
1.) 21 Jan 2025 15:56:23
Steady on, just take it one week at a time
Spurs game whilst great, Spurs were absolutely all over the place at the back.
2.) 21 Jan 2025 16:03:19
Spurs and Man U are getting dragged in as well mate.
3.) 21 Jan 2025 19:37:57
Let’s not count chickens. Let’s just get ourselves safe and focus on sitting out out team. Whatever happens to spurs or Utd is their fate. As long as we are safe, I don’t care much for other teams.
4.) 21 Jan 2025 20:13:02
I'd of rather it was just one more win, 5 sounds a lot in the position we are in at the moment.
16 Jan 2025 20:51:13
Fabrice Hawkins saying we have agreed a 20 million fee with Lyon for nuamah
Chelsea want broja wages paid in full if we terminate loan.
1.) 16 Jan 2025 21:59:10
Worth the hit to be able to get someone else in.
2.) 16 Jan 2025 22:10:27
Think that is in Euro's mate so would be more like £16/ 17 million. Sounds much better than the initial reports of £25.
The lad clearly has pace to burn but his numbers don't fill me with great hope and after all that is in the French League where a 33 year old Lacazette is made to look like primer R9.
Guess anything is better than Harrison tbf.
3.) 17 Jan 2025 10:12:44
Couple of clubs interested, so that's us out.
4.) 17 Jan 2025 15:31:50
I hope it is us out. Worse Adama Traore.
5.) 17 Jan 2025 19:24:58
Bargain at 25 quid BN I'd say mate!
11 Jan 2025 17:58:00
The same lad who told me about Moyes joining and then the cresswell links seems to think we will play 541 under Moyes, make of that what you will.
1.) 11 Jan 2025 18:34:57
I think we will seemore of Patterson at RB/ RWB. We know Moyeslikes his full backs to overlap and get crosses in. And Patterson does seem good crosser of the ball.
2.) 11 Jan 2025 18:56:58
Think Coleman and Baines, their overlapping was what made so effective.
Obvs Patterson and Myko bit way off them mind.
3.) 11 Jan 2025 18:57:29
But I think Patterson in particular can improve alot.
4.) 11 Jan 2025 19:23:58
I can’t see myko playing much under Moyes agree wiry with the Patterson sentiment.
5.) 11 Jan 2025 20:39:34
He shouldn’t, sorry to say he’s just not good enough.
6.) 12 Jan 2025 03:04:48
I don't get the Myko hate, obviously he's no Baines but he's better than dingey.
7.) 12 Jan 2025 08:11:10
Def3nsively he might be better than Digne, going forward nowhere near and overall nowhere near.
8.) 12 Jan 2025 08:56:43
From Baines to Digne to Micky. There’s a pattern of decline in quality. That needs addressing quickly.
11 Jan 2025 11:52:21
I'm hearing Moyes wants to sign cresswell from West Ham, expect it to happen towards end of the Window as potter evaluates his squad.
1.) 11 Jan 2025 12:03:45
Potter is apparently after Chilwell so could be a goer.
2.) 11 Jan 2025 13:39:58
Will probably be a few rumours regarding Hammers players.
{Ed025's Note - probably go for Antonio next..
3.) 11 Jan 2025 18:34:05
Na mate he past it now and he red.
4.) 12 Jan 2025 03:09:06
Antonio has about the same chance of scoring as our lot right now ed.

Can I ask ed 01 what do you think of ndiaye? I think he can go all the way to the top, could easily play for Barcelona or Madrid. Similar to coutinho but with pace? Or am I dreaming ed.
{Ed001's Note - he is very good, but not sure he is quite that good. It is possible as he has the technical ability but it is the mental side of things that worries me with him. His movement off the ball and defensive work are both in need of improvement. The main issue though is his end product, which can be a little hit and miss as his decision making is not the best. It really does come down to the coaching he receives.}
1.) 05 Feb 2025 20:34:13
Thanks for the reply seems like we signed an absolute gem for the price.
{Ed001's Note - very much so mate. It is interesting that he was the one player that still looked a player under Dyche.}
2.) 05 Feb 2025 21:57:31
He will improve under Moyes and Irvine. In fact I believe a lot of the squad will improve now we have changed the management set-up.
3.) 06 Feb 2025 07:08:35
Completely agree BlueMike.
4.) 06 Feb 2025 09:35:09
Ndiaye has been the shinning light this season so far. But to Say Barcelona or Madrid is bit of a stretch. He wouldn't be a starter for City, Liverpool, Arsenal, probably add Newcastle, Villa, Chelsea.
I hope he stays with us as we improve long into the future though, he definitely excites the fans and produces on the pitch.
5.) 06 Feb 2025 11:26:58
i love Ndiaye and it's a brilliant signing
but i think it's more telling how starved EFC have been of exciting players on the ball, that we all think Ndiaye is going to be one of the best in the world
again he's absolutely brilliant, but i don't think he starts for a number for a no. of PL clubs, never mind Barca/ Madrid
he's stepped it up recently again, but again EFC have been missing it that long that they haven't realised likes of Bournemouth/ Brighton/ Forest have gained these sort of players in recent years. this isn't a ground breaking thing for EFC, just finally playing catch up.
6.) 06 Feb 2025 11:34:42
I think he'd have started games for any team in the Prem this season. There's a very good argument that if he'd not been playing under Dyche for the season, his output would be higher. He seems to have thew confidence to continue improving. Let's hope so eh?
7.) 06 Feb 2025 13:03:14
Whilst I understand what every single person has said on this thread, I think the lad starts or challenges for any team in the PL. That may be down to that position not exactly being blessed with a wealth of top class players currently but ability wise he is as good as Trossard/ Martinelli, Gakpo/ Diaz, Doku/ Grealish, Sancho/ Neto for me.
I don't get carried away by players but the most impressive thing about Ndiaye for me is his composure with the ball. Obviously there will be occasions where the wrong decision is made, as is the case with anybody playing in the attacking positions but when he is in the middle third or close to, his ability to retain possession and pick out the right pass, little subtle manipulations of the ball or his body shape is top quality.
I think Ed is absolutely spot on with regards to his end product. Although we have seen some moments of brilliance e. g. Ipswich, City and Spurs, there are occasions where he is wasteful. I imagine this is something that he can improve as he is only 24 and at least he has the technical ability to execute different types of finishes, it is just a case of being more consistent and making it the norm.
I don't agree with the call on his defending though. His defensive numbers are through the roof for a wide player and his energy and commitment to work back for the team is refreshing and infectious.
This lad is only going to get better with age and also when the players around him increase in quality. This is his 1st season in top flight football and he is more than comfortable.
As someone rightly said, he managed to shine playing for one of the most negative managers that has ever lived and a poor Everton side. We have already seen him take another step up under Moyes. I think if you put him in the likes of City, Liverpool or Arsenal you'd see 5x the player.
Looking forward to seeing Trent try to deal with him soon.
8.) 06 Feb 2025 14:33:21
The lad reminds me of Duncan McKenzie. Every time he got the ball you were on the edge of your seat. But could also be really frustrating as well.
9.) 06 Feb 2025 20:38:15
I meant potential bunk beds like 3/ 4 years time.
02 Feb 2025 22:25:43
Don't be surprised to see us beat Bournemouth with how open they are and I reckon we will get a draw in the derby.
1.) 03 Feb 2025 03:52:28
I would be surprised on both but would relish it.
2.) 03 Feb 2025 07:16:02
2 wins mate.
3.) 03 Feb 2025 09:16:31
Bournemouth is going to be a tough game mate, They were very unlucky against our neighbours. They move the ball quick and have a lot of pace in their team.
As for the other lot, if I am being honest I would be happy with a draw. It worries me having Micky up against Salah, hope he's told not to let him onto his left foot.
{Ed025's Note - Myko has done well against Salah in the past to be fair Brass, they are a very good team though and my expectations are not very high against them i must say, Bournemouth are very good as well but beatable with a prevailing wind, i must say im a lot more positive about things than i was this time last month mate..

Dyche on the other hand turned on the PC and loaded up a football manager game from 10 years ago to get the most up to date info on the upcoming players who happen to now be in their 30s….
20 Jan 2025 12:16:21
Special mention for mangala as well, ndiaye rightly taking the plaudits but mangala and gana have been quality in the middle. It seems we have 5-6 quality players with the rest championship level.
Pickford, tarks, jb, mangala, gana, ndiaye and maybe Lindstorm the rest we need to improve on.
1.) 20 Jan 2025 13:46:03
Even when we were awful, Mangala looked a decent player. Hope we have an option to pick him up in the summer.
{Ed025's Note - for me JB Mangala and Gana do a similar job mate and there is only room for one of them, Idrissa was very good yesterday but long term i would think it has to be Mangala..
2.) 20 Jan 2025 14:24:56
I think he’s one of our players who’s out of contract in the summer mate.
3.) 20 Jan 2025 19:30:25
I think we need to keep both. Gana will get another year. Hopefully pick mangala up. I'd rather see the back of douc and garner before gana and mangala. Tim still learning. Then a good attacking mid to bring in or hopefully McNeil will progress. I think we are light in CM, I think there is plenty of space in the squad for gana and mangala.
4.) 20 Jan 2025 20:22:50
Not sure Gana’s going to have the legs for another season. Best used as a bench player to come on second half to help see out games. He’s expensive though. As long as we offload some Doucs, Harrison and Keane types, we may be able to afford him.
19 Jan 2025 14:58:34
We're going to win the league.

Is that the rangers kid?
21 Jan 2025 14:43:37
Pretty sure he will be at Newcastle on a free at end of season I’m sure ed02 hinted at it a few times before he passed.
21 Jan 2025 14:42:33
Moyes said himself we have an interest it’s just wether we can agree terms, he’s probably keeping his options open until end of window, didn’t he pull out of a move on the last window? Spurs I think.
16 Jan 2025 13:06:49
I’ll give him a lift if he needs it, I can stop off in Leeds on the way and drop Harrison off too.
15 Jan 2025 01:44:10
Rensh is off to Roma.

Give gana another year, Tim isn’t going anywhere, doucoure will probably get another year as well.
08 Feb 2025 10:39:42
Reports today saying we will be well clear of psr as the three year period is over and we will have a big budget this summer.
06 Feb 2025 20:38:15
I meant potential bunk beds like 3/ 4 years time.
06 Feb 2025 20:36:45
Very open at the back, we can beat them for sure.
05 Feb 2025 20:34:13
Thanks for the reply seems like we signed an absolute gem for the price.
