Alrite all hope everyone is well including the eds just curious if any of the eds know there's rumours online that doucoura won't be offered a contract the end of season and will be released is that true and also have the club approached him with a lower contract offer then what's he's on and he has refused or is it just everton not offering him a new deal any input or information would be grateful thank you if he accepted a lower contract than he's currently on then happy days but if not wish him all best in future.
{Ed025's Note - as far as i know Andy the club will not be offering AD a new contract or exercising their option for a further year, its probably a money issue i expect but he wont want to take a drop so it looks by all accounts that he will probably move on mate..

We can’t have bit part squad players on that! Only the clubs with stupid amounts of revenue will be able to do that. Sadly, we aren’t there yet and I doubt we will be able to match them for a long, long time.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they let his contract expire and they present a new 1-2 year contract as a back up squad player at a salary which suits that role.

BB, nobody is really praising him in this thread but he does deserve a level of recognition and respect from the fan base. He scored an important goal or two to help keep us in this league so he has my full appreciation for that alone. Obviously, age is catching up with him a bit but if he goes then he does so with gratitude from me.
I find it bizarre that people are too quick to slate our players even if they have played an important role to keep this club where it belongs. Nothing more fickle than football fans I suppose mate!

Ed 002 few rumours going around that Everton might be interested in a loan for victor roque me personally i can't see it think there will be better teams out there but think he be great loan addition if we can persuade him can play on the left right and upfront seen him in the brazil u21s few times aswell really good player.

Unrelated to everton but just wondering if any eds would know if klopp or pep would ever consider the England job me personally i would love it if one them ever got appointed think them 2 would win us a world cup or the euros.
{Ed002's Note - I don't think either is realistic Andy. Klopp wants time off and then he pretty much knows what options he will have. Guardiola has one more year on contract at Manchester City. They want an extension and he may accept one year or take a year off and take a job which is already on the table. He will have options.}

He is playing in Austria so I don’t think it’s worth comparing the two in terms of goals scored.
Their record of actually making it onto the pitch is worth comparing though and it seems questionable to say the least.
Would much rather us get Che Adams on a free, now that his deal with Wolves looks to have fell through.
41 goals in 164 games for some very poor Southampton teams. Knows the league. Works hard for the shirt. Robust and can play as a target man or up top in a 2.
Not a fantastic player by any means but makes perfect sense to me for what we need and where we are at.

Would rather stick with Beto and chermiti than signing Adams.
Where we are at is building for the future and recruiting young players who we can develop and sell on for a profit - Che Adams in my opinion does not fit in to where we are currently at.

I agree watching Scotland was enough to show how nad he is, he isn't a prem player he is just about championship, we sold a player that was deemed not good enough to Coventry and he scored more goals, enough said.

Strange comments indeed, especially when you consider he has a better goal scoring record than DCL in an arguably much worse team, yet people go on about how we need to keep DCL at all costs.
DCL is probably be off. Despite recent signings, we are still not flush with cash. He is free and would make sense. Signing him doesn't mean getting rid of Beto or Chermiti. He just provides another option and more of a like for like for DCL.
Playing for Scotland against Germany, Hungary and Switzerland is like us playing against City, Villa and Spurs. The team is limited to say the least. He also outscored Simms so not quite sure where you are going with that.

DCL has been average at best since joining club in 2016 for £1.5m ( and you can tell ) . I would happily sell him this summer if can get a fee around the £20m + that’s a great bit of business. As his overall record is poor IMO and lately his injury record is just as bad. I would be in two minds over signing Broja for the quoted fee as he is still recovering from ACL injury and if we end up signing him I will give 100% support hopefully he can rediscover his form from loan spell with Southampton. I would think thelwell would try to negotiate a deal which suits us ( with various add ons rising with set targets/ conditions ) incase he ends up being a nightmare deal. Hopefully Everton will start to more efficient in transfer market as Thelwell seems to work market well and he and Freikland group could be a good partnership in the long term future.

Beto deserves a least another season as he moved to a more competitive league. Also club wasn’t in best shape seemed to have steadily improved. He may just need a long run in side. By the looks DCL looks like he is going Beto won’t have that pressure on him being compared and scrutinising reports from media. The potential new attacking additions could bring best out of Beto. Thoughts on Daniel Jebbison rumours as a free agent his salary was rumoured to be approx £4k a week. This could be another potential move with 100% profit if the deal doesn’t work out in PL.

Ron Mac Any signings hope they are doing a full medical check Jebbison if anything comes of it and he can’t adjust to PL if we got £10m from a championship or European team good business by us I can’t see his wages being any issue. On other hand everything might click for him and become a big star for us. IMO this 24 year old Mali international who used to play for red bull Salzburg has apparently agreed a deal with club again only cost is his wages if move doesn’t work out we can get some sort of Fee for him. Both are young players on free transfers.

Look in past Tim Cahill was it £2m what a player he was. Also seamus Coleman £60k was one of best RB in PL in his prime.

This is none everton related but i just want to say to every single ed thank you for this page and also thank you for your time for feedback and also a platform for every fan base to come on your site and discuss topics with each other.
so i have 2 questions basically 1. how many eds are there all together and 2. have youse ever considered doing a YouTube channel in some capacity i think all your knowledge is incredible and have no doubt you would definitely get a good platform.

UTFT travelling back from the match absolutely buzzing it didn't look like either team was threatening each other but to score in the 94 min il happily take 3 points against a forest team whose home form is up there i have been critical of harrison still stand by it not good enough dacoure i have had few digs at him on here i would like him stay but only if his contract wage can be reduced but i'm just glad we got 3 points and its away so the question i asked would the away wins against palace brighton and now forest would SD got them results don't even think we would of scored 1 goal against the 3 i mentioned but yeah buzzing COYB.

Few rumours going around that everton are interested in ben doak do any of the eds know if we are interested i can't see liverpool selling him to us for 1 and 2 few me mates who are reds said he's highly fought off and only be a matter of time before he's in and around liverpools 1st team but from what i have seem him with boro in championship this season he looks a very good player like thank you for any feedback.

Watched Peter reid doing a interview yesterday about his time at everton never seen him play but have watched him on toutube looked one hell of a player but anyways to cut to the story he was asked about a match at anfield that he played in and he won a tackle later in the match against john Barnes and he said he was getting pelters but he said it's part of football but as he was by the advertising board he was getting stick and as he turned round it was his uncle in the crowd who was a red never laughed so much ??.

I think we are in a much better situation than we was going to be under the last manager palace and brighton away wins also leicester and spurs at home would we would of won under s. d doubt it infact i can even bet that we woudnt of even scored against the teams am mentioning we was unlucky against united had great chances to get 3 pounts away at Brentford got good point at home against liverpool aswell so my personal view moyes will steady us i do agree with chermiti an broja though and also alcaraz ed 025 i like Charlie i just don't understand why he's not starting instead of doucoura but just want to ask you mate you do you think everton or moyes want to sign him cause i'm i right he only needs play 5 more matches before the transfer can be pernament i think they don't want him and i think its a massive shame an i will be very disappointed if that scenario is true cause when i see that lad play or come of bench on his day he can be a gamechanger and offers a lot more than most that start.
