Ed 002 few rumours going around that Everton might be interested in a loan for victor roque me personally i can't see it think there will be better teams out there but think he be great loan addition if we can persuade him can play on the left right and upfront seen him in the brazil u21s few times aswell really good player.
{Ed002's Note - Vitor Roque (S) PSG, Chelsea and Barcelona fought over him last summer with Barcelona winning out. Now his time at Barcelona is over with his agent telling Deco the player wants to stay but others are wanting him gone - and he will depart in the summer; something his agent now accepts. His agent does not want the player to go on loan. Has been offered in exchange for a Chelsea player, but that has been rejected. Fiorentina may offer an option. Spurs might well be approached but the player will resist. Prior interest of Milan and Arsenal has moved on whilst Manchester United will not want to pay the €45M Barcelona are looking to recover. Napoli might provide an interesting solution. His options may be down to joining Inter Milan, who will likely want a loan to buy deal of some sort, Napoli, Juventus as a Moise Keane replacement or Porto. Porto offer an interesting option of an exchange for Pepe who Barcelona see as a good replacement for departing Joao Felix. If the difference in valuation can be reconciled, then a move to Porto may suit everyone. Agent has been in England and tried to get the attention of a number of Premier League clubs including BRighton, Everton and Fulham in the player - but all will know it would be a huge risk. A loan to Inter if Barcelona cannot recover the money or get a suitable player in part exchange would otherwise become viable.}
1.) 13 Aug 2024 11:42:35
Apparently we have bid £24 million for him.
2.) 13 Aug 2024 13:37:55
Sounds like he’s bad news to me.
17 Jul 2024 00:58:00
Unrelated to everton but just wondering if any eds would know if klopp or pep would ever consider the England job me personally i would love it if one them ever got appointed think them 2 would win us a world cup or the euros.
{Ed002's Note - I don't think either is realistic Andy. Klopp wants time off and then he pretty much knows what options he will have. Guardiola has one more year on contract at Manchester City. They want an extension and he may accept one year or take a year off and take a job which is already on the table. He will have options.}
03 Jul 2024 19:56:22
Alrite ed 002 hope you're well mate just wondering what you're foughts on sekou koita from rb salzburg and also is there any truth in everton looking at him on a free transfer any feedback i would be grateful as i havnt heard of him before thank you.
{Ed002's Note - Sekou Koita S/AM) Free Agent who CSKA, Lens and Everton have a declared interest in but Everton will need to check if a Work Permit will be available as it could be difficult to get a Work Permit for the PL. Sunderland remain keen to take him to the Championship. Goal scoring record in Austria has veen very good although that has not been reflected at International level. An unconvincing Beto replacement perhaps.}
1.) 04 Jul 2024 09:15:35
Hi Ed,
So he hasn't already signed for Leeds? Just when Google his name Wikipedia has him playing for Leeds United and Mali. ?.
2.) 04 Jul 2024 09:40:28
No worries ed 002 thank you for feedback me personally if we can ship out maupay keane holgate with there wages and also gomes an alli are gone then i would take him on free transfer if his wage demands are not high as we need to try avoid getting players on high wages in my opinion.
{Ed002's Note - If Everton push ahead and sign Sekou Koita he will have the opportunity to replicate his form in Austria, it will be a good thing.}
3.) 04 Jul 2024 10:18:19
His record to get on the pitch seems as bad as DCL’s, so it must be his replacement. Like for like indeed.
4.) 04 Jul 2024 13:16:01
His goals to game ratio for Salzburg is far better than Dom’s. Look to have different skill sets also.
5.) 04 Jul 2024 15:51:03
He is playing in Austria so I don’t think it’s worth comparing the two in terms of goals scored.
Their record of actually making it onto the pitch is worth comparing though and it seems questionable to say the least.
Would much rather us get Che Adams on a free, now that his deal with Wolves looks to have fell through.
41 goals in 164 games for some very poor Southampton teams. Knows the league. Works hard for the shirt. Robust and can play as a target man or up top in a 2.
Not a fantastic player by any means but makes perfect sense to me for what we need and where we are at.
6.) 04 Jul 2024 17:00:16
Oh good god no way should we be getting Che Adams - he’s terrible!
Would rather stick with Beto and chermiti than signing Adams.
Where we are at is building for the future and recruiting young players who we can develop and sell on for a profit - Che Adams in my opinion does not fit in to where we are currently at.
7.) 04 Jul 2024 17:20:10
I agree watching Scotland was enough to show how nad he is, he isn't a prem player he is just about championship, we sold a player that was deemed not good enough to Coventry and he scored more goals, enough said.
8.) 04 Jul 2024 20:57:38
Strange comments indeed, especially when you consider he has a better goal scoring record than DCL in an arguably much worse team, yet people go on about how we need to keep DCL at all costs.
DCL is probably be off. Despite recent signings, we are still not flush with cash. He is free and would make sense. Signing him doesn't mean getting rid of Beto or Chermiti. He just provides another option and more of a like for like for DCL.
Playing for Scotland against Germany, Hungary and Switzerland is like us playing against City, Villa and Spurs. The team is limited to say the least. He also outscored Simms so not quite sure where you are going with that.
9.) 05 Jul 2024 02:48:08
DCL has been average at best since joining club in 2016 for £1.5m ( and you can tell ) . I would happily sell him this summer if can get a fee around the £20m + that’s a great bit of business. As his overall record is poor IMO and lately his injury record is just as bad. I would be in two minds over signing Broja for the quoted fee as he is still recovering from ACL injury and if we end up signing him I will give 100% support hopefully he can rediscover his form from loan spell with Southampton. I would think thelwell would try to negotiate a deal which suits us ( with various add ons rising with set targets/ conditions ) incase he ends up being a nightmare deal. Hopefully Everton will start to more efficient in transfer market as Thelwell seems to work market well and he and Freikland group could be a good partnership in the long term future.
10.) 05 Jul 2024 02:59:06
Beto deserves a least another season as he moved to a more competitive league. Also club wasn’t in best shape seemed to have steadily improved. He may just need a long run in side. By the looks DCL looks like he is going Beto won’t have that pressure on him being compared and scrutinising reports from media. The potential new attacking additions could bring best out of Beto. Thoughts on Daniel Jebbison rumours as a free agent his salary was rumoured to be approx £4k a week. This could be another potential move with 100% profit if the deal doesn’t work out in PL.
11.) 05 Jul 2024 04:51:01
Jebbison cheap free and injury prone aswell isn't he? still only young though so might be worth a punt if he was to pass a proper medical.
12.) 05 Jul 2024 06:18:42
I'm sorry but you will bever convince me che Adam's is a premiership player, there are better options out there than this, to me this would be a panick buy.
13.) 05 Jul 2024 09:09:35
Ron Mac Any signings hope they are doing a full medical check Jebbison if anything comes of it and he can’t adjust to PL if we got £10m from a championship or European team good business by us I can’t see his wages being any issue. On other hand everything might click for him and become a big star for us. IMO this 24 year old Mali international who used to play for red bull Salzburg has apparently agreed a deal with club again only cost is his wages if move doesn’t work out we can get some sort of Fee for him. Both are young players on free transfers.
14.) 05 Jul 2024 09:12:15
Seen linked with that Martin Branthwaite who played for Barcelona who is 33 now and will be a fee involved that’s got Solomon Rondon mistake all over again.
15.) 05 Jul 2024 12:02:06
I totally agree seanb it's worth taking a gamble and we need to at the moment and hopefully get a gem out of it. But who do we actually go for? Can only start with 11 and don't forget we need room on the bench for 6 keepers 2 strikers 1 for the last 20 mins and 1 for the right wing in added on time ?.
16.) 06 Jul 2024 12:24:57
Look in past Tim Cahill was it £2m what a player he was. Also seamus Coleman £60k was one of best RB in PL in his prime.
18 Jun 2024 14:46:37
Alrite ed 002 hope you're well just wondering if there is any truth about Everton looking at Tim Iroegbunam from Aston villa and can you see him being replacement for onano i have never seen him play personally but any insight be great thank you.
{Ed002's Note - Tim Iroegbunam (CM) Seen as surplus by Aston Villa ad they need to raise P&SR funds quickly. Seen as an option by Everton to replace Andre Gomes.
Everton and Aston Villa are discussing a couple of other matters as well.}
1.) 18 Jun 2024 15:57:53
Apparently we're signing him. Don't know much about him tbh.
2.) 18 Jun 2024 17:04:56
No idea how good he is or his potential but it makes a nice change that we are targeting a young up and coming player.
Had a good season at Championship level and I think that is a good market to shop in.
3.) 18 Jun 2024 17:18:28
I like the change in direction with potential signings, this is the correct business model to take?.
4.) 18 Jun 2024 18:10:47
M8 of mine is a Villa dan and told me he’s meant to be very good and got a bit of game time towards end of season! Agree this potentially could be a decent buy.
5.) 18 Jun 2024 19:11:11
Onana to Villa per chance?
6.) 18 Jun 2024 15:57:28
What other matters Ed2?
{Ed002's Note - Onanna and Dendoncker.}
7.) 18 Jun 2024 16:27:18
Ed you mention a couple of other matters I’m guessing onana is one of them what are the others?
{Ed002's Note - Dendoncker.}
8.) 18 Jun 2024 17:17:12
Any insight on the other discussions between the teams Ed?
Do Villa want Mason Holgate?
{Ed002's Note - Dendoncker.}
9.) 18 Jun 2024 17:34:05
No worries ed 002 thank you great knowledge as always.
10.) 18 Jun 2024 18:20:06
Can't leave us hanging like that Ed ?, are the couple of other matters anything interesting?
{Ed002's Note - I have explained.}
11.) 18 Jun 2024 19:38:57
Maybe? Ed2 did say Everton and Villa were discussing more ….
12.) 18 Jun 2024 15:54:43
Is that the Onana deal Ed? He's heavily linked with them or Arsenal.
{Ed002's Note - Read the posts.}
13.) 18 Jun 2024 22:11:10
Why does it feel people are trying to wind Ed02 up? We are swapping our overrated CM for an underperforming player of theirs. It’s basic Everton business.
14.) 18 Jun 2024 22:45:44
Be interesting to see what happens with this.
Onana has the potential to be world class but can’t see it happening with us, he’s had the chance on several occasions to impress but hasn’t. However think with better players around him he’ll improve.
If we move him on and make a profit then we’ve got to be happy with that.
Irgoegbunam could be a decent signing, played well for QPR when on loan there playing 32 times. Only 20, not a massive fee and imagine won’t be on huge wages and has potential to improve given more game time - this is the sort of signings need to make.
Dendonker if happened would also be a decent addition to the squad.
15.) 19 Jun 2024 02:52:30
I like the possibility of Dendonker joining, tidy player. Don't know much the other chap. Read a thread on X, mainly positive review of him from Villa fans . Could be a good deal for both clubs.
04 Aug 2023 17:08:18
Just wondering if any of the eds know if we are looking at kamaldeen sulemana from Southampton me personally looks good when i have seen him think he can play both wings fast aswell any feedback be gratefull thank you.
{Ed002's Note - Kamaldeen Sulemana (LW) Rennes let Sulemana move on in order to keep another player and to raise funds. The player wants out of Southampton to play at a higher level and I understand he has made this position clear to the club. He has no agent so a third party has been speaking to clubs in France about his availability with interest with Lille seeing him as an addition. The interest of Nice has gone with the signing of Jeremie Boga. Southampton will not recover what they paid for him, but will listen to good offers.}
1.) 05 Aug 2023 11:55:08
Great info ed 002 as always thank you would he be interested in a loan to everton.
{Ed002's Note - Southampton will look for a sale in the coming days. I rather doubt a loan will suit them.}

I am either a brave man or stupid, only going to match Saturday never been down the Midlands before, so be fascinated to see Villa's ground, but this thing that we played well for 85 mins is annoying.
its an easy excuse for the manager not to get the blame and when dyche said he could smell trouble why on gods earth did he take of tim for doucoura should of been garner and ndiaye had Bournemouth's defence running in circles so again the buck stops with manager his job is see out full 90 minute matches not based on certain minutes.
But me personally if Keane gets nod over O'Brien then what's point of paying 20 million for him when we could have bought a winger who can get past a fullback im nervous for Saturday, but so will other blues who be there with me villa are a good team good players and a good manager who likes to play attacking football.
so we're going to have to take our chances that's if we get any but im not expecting a win far from it but a point is possible depending on team selection of course but all in all can't wait travel Saturday shall be good experience COYB.
1.) 11 Sep 2024 11:19:15
Enjoy yourself mate, it will be a good day.
2.) 11 Sep 2024 11:38:38
It is a great ground Andy, enjoy it mate. I remember going there when we beat them 3-1. Pienaar, Fellaini and Jelavic scored. We had a much better team then and they had a much worse one haha.
I like Villa as a club and I am happy to see them up there again, I think they are very similar to ourselves.
Hopefully, by some miracle, we manage to get 3 pts.
Have fun mate.
3.) 11 Sep 2024 19:48:13
Thanks lads yeah shall be fun looking forward to the match hopefully point be brilliant.
02 Sep 2024 22:31:07
Thats the thing with everton no matter how bad they are you watch them to the point where you're missus says its either me or everton i picked the blues so yeah football in my dna ?.
31 Aug 2024 13:46:42
My team today would be pickford garner tarks obrien micky then have tim an doucoura in front back 4 then would have lindstrem mcneil with ndiaye behind dcl but we have to start playing with passion and am hoping today we can get 3 points not going to be easy by any stretch of mark Bournemouth are decent team so we need to be on it chase ball ball and instead of trying to sit off and out counter attack them let's just counter attack them we have the players to cause problems its just sean dyches style an set up so with our fans behind us who by way habe been absolutely outstanding travelling home and away that's not including the ones at euston station am praying for 3 points COYB by way if anyone watching arsenal match declan rice second yellow in my opinion it absolutely shocking i think veltman should been giving a red card for his kick out.
23 Aug 2024 09:30:27
So rumours are doing the rounds trippier linked 32 years old no doubt another high wage deli set to giving a 1 year extension and to top it off we have 14 players available for match tommorow is that including the players we have bought aswell just baffles me this club at times anyone travelling down tommorow i salute you.
11 Aug 2024 14:32:28
Ed 002 is it possible that Everton could face another points deduction and if we do could this have been prevented with the players we have signed like ndiaye and also tim iroegbunam just be silly that we are buying players and putting us further at risk with current financial situation any feedback would really be gratefull thanks.
{Ed002's Note - Not at this time but when the accounts are submitted it is possible - but that is true for any club.}
31 Aug 2024 13:54:11
I think me personally i think its boosts are attacking options i'm happy we have him on loan just the injuries concern me but if he has good season we can purchase broja and if he doesn't can send him back but i'm kinda happy having him and hopefully we can turn his form around touch wood.
24 Jul 2024 07:54:03
Think its a win win situation with current financial situation if he has good season we can activate his 25 mil buyout clause that's if he wants join us permanently if he doesn't perform well then again we have the option to send him back but i havnt seen him play but i have seen few posts on here saying he was good at frankfurt prior moving to napoli so if we can get him in the same rhythm when he was at frankfurt than happy days.
06 Jul 2024 10:59:40
Has to be better alternatives out there than davison Sanchez if JB does decide to go greaves from hull be good shout we need like for like replacement not saying greaves will be better than jb for one minute but the same age replacement instead of going for older center halfs in my opinion as replacements.
{Ed025's Note - im with you andy..
04 Jul 2024 09:40:28
No worries ed 002 thank you for feedback me personally if we can ship out maupay keane holgate with there wages and also gomes an alli are gone then i would take him on free transfer if his wage demands are not high as we need to try avoid getting players on high wages in my opinion.
{Ed002's Note - If Everton push ahead and sign Sekou Koita he will have the opportunity to replicate his form in Austria, it will be a good thing.}
29 Jun 2024 17:21:57
Spot on mocker think its about time everton looked into the championship and league 1 i think if braithwaite does leave i would like see greaves from hull or ronnie edwards from Peterborough as his replacement in my opinion.
12 Sep 2024 18:46:20
I wouldn't be suprised ed 025 if keane starts mate but he shoudnt be in the team just don't understand the logic in buying obrien and not playing him when that 20 million could of been spent in other areas like a winger who can take on the fullback i'm not expecting to win Saturday far from it but i expect a different approach in tactics we have the players to play counter attacking football not saying we will win every week but want to see some passion from the lads but for me i don't think dyche is the answer he done a good job last season yes granted but this manager is stubborn and the only tactic he seems to play is boot the ball up long and hope for the best just frustrating to watch he hasn't even got no plan b ?.
{Ed025's Note - and his plan A is not up to much either andy..
12 Sep 2024 17:43:48
Good post ron mate i havnt seen much of him myself tbh mate but me team for Saturday would be pickford garner tarks obrien micky then have tim an dacoura infront of defence then have lindstrom ndiaye mcneil with dcl upfront.
{Ed025's Note - Doucs would be nowhere near the first team for me andy, and what i have seen Lindstrom looks a little lightweight to me, but its all about opinions i suppose mate, i expect Keane to start as well..
12 Sep 2024 11:19:00
Thats a brilliant insight just enjoyed reading that ed 001 can you ever see maybe Alonso or diego simeone coming to the prem one day.
{Ed001's Note - Alonso has always said he wants to manage Bayern, Madrid and Liverpool, so yes I can see him coming to the Prem. Simeone though, that is a different matter. Eventually he will have to leave Atletico, but I would expect him to go to Serie A when it happens.}
11 Sep 2024 19:48:13
Thanks lads yeah shall be fun looking forward to the match hopefully point be brilliant.
03 Sep 2024 10:06:34
Think he's a great shot stopper ed 025 am afraid mate yes he's irrational likes to get involved in things he doesn't but his ball distribute is pretty good and there was some England fans screaming for him to be dropped after he's the first keeper during my time to help us win a penalty shoot out against Columbia even heard some England fans and arsenal fans saying ramsdale is better yet he's just joined Southampton am not sure about the legends thing if he's stays he's been a great servant i have no doubt but what justifies being a legend is it amount of games you have played is it winning trophies just easy word to throw about the in the game but just my opinion.
{Ed025's Note - hes not a problem for us Andy and hes a very decent keeper, just not in the same league as the likes of Big Nev, Gordon West, Nigel Martin etc, just my opinion of course mate..
