Just seen a report on that Alcaraz. Says its a loan with option to buy for £15mill after 8 appearances. If true what a waste of a loan. Just sign him for 15 mill.
1.) 01 Feb 2025 13:29:13
Might not have the funds available right now dentie. Summer might be when we can pay for him.
2.) 01 Feb 2025 13:45:11
Probably a way of deferring payment so we don't fall foul of PPR and can make sure we can bring others in this window.
3.) 01 Feb 2025 15:28:15
I think it is an obligation to buy after certain clauses are triggered. If this is the case, it doesn't take up a loan spot.
4.) 01 Feb 2025 15:59:57
Might be this doesn’t count as a loan due to the obligation piece but defers the payment.
5.) 01 Feb 2025 22:50:49
Cheers for input guys. Makes sense about 8 game perm transfer.
6.) 01 Feb 2025 23:45:53
Still got 3 foreign loans left after he joins. We're not filling all those spots up in January.

Hi Eds. Any info if we are still interested in Kamada? I thought we were back end of season. Just wondering if interest is there, and if he would consider move if put to him?
{Ed002's Note - He is not moving to Everton.}
1.) 13 Jul 2023 11:24:59
OK cheers Ed002.

I'm not going to get into transfer budget or FFP, but are we still interested in Akpom from Middlesbrough. I'm sure we were in January, and was wondering if interest still there, if boro prepared to sell and how much it could be. I think he could be shrewd signing to play off striker.
{Ed002's Note - No.}

Cheers Ed002.

Emotional day today. Anyone going today I hope you have a great time and cherish the memories of the old lady. COYB UTFT.
17 May 2025 18:32:10
Congratulations Crystal Palace. Well deserved win. Played fantastically.
1.) 17 May 2025 18:45:35
They did that mate thoroughly deserved it.
2.) 17 May 2025 19:56:39
How did the keeper get away with not being sent off.! , VAR terrible again
But well done palace, played well.
3.) 17 May 2025 20:06:51
Yes Skylark. A terrible decision that will be the talking point and will take column inches away from a deserved palace performance.
Congratulations to Crystal Palace.
4.) 17 May 2025 20:53:45
It was a terrible decision by var again. Then he saves the penalty given shortly afterwards. Rubs salt into the wounds zbit lol.
16 May 2025 18:32:45
The Hill Dickinson Stadium. Largest naming rights deal in European history. Still BMD to me.
1.) 16 May 2025 20:17:54
Liverpool firm, older than the Club. Hill Dickinson New Goodison.
2.) 16 May 2025 21:51:57
Yep. The New G for me ?.
3.) 16 May 2025 22:31:54
How much are we getting for them to sponsor it?
Given it’s a premier league stadium that will be seen by millions around the country and possibly around the world, I was hoping for something a bit bigger and better known.
4.) 17 May 2025 12:04:05
Fourth highest sponsorship deal for naming rights apparently.
13 May 2025 17:28:14
So it's confirmed that Everton Women will use Goodison Park from now on. I wouldn't of thought it would be financially beneficial but are the U23s and U18s going to play there too .?
1.) 13 May 2025 17:49:14
I’m pretty sure there’s a psr work around, Chelsea did something similar so hopefully more money for transfers, I can’t see anything bad in it not being knocked down either don’t know why people are moaning.
2.) 13 May 2025 18:19:30
Statistically the fastest growing sport in the world the last 5 years.
3.) 13 May 2025 18:28:05
I’m surprised Dentie. Thought we’d need the money from developing the land. Think they will need to upgrade the stands over the next decade though don’t know how they can afford that without causing financial issues. If it could have been done cheaper, they would never have built the new stadium.
4.) 13 May 2025 19:50:36
Personally I think it's a terrible idea, hope I'm wrong.
5.) 13 May 2025 20:20:40
Why do you say that Skylark?
6.) 13 May 2025 20:57:16
Running costs of an old stadium and not to mention the upgrade cost, I just don't think it would generate enough money, but I'm not expert so I will probably be proven wrong,
7.) 13 May 2025 23:03:39
I think the owners have plenty of money br it’s just a case of wiggling around psr restrictions which allows us to and keep the stadium as well as giving the girls their own ground, win win.
8.) 14 May 2025 02:12:51
TFG have surprised everyone with this decision and it's difficult to see the upside.
We all love Goodison and there is no better place in world football when it's full and bouncing. However, the womens average attendance is around 2k which means it will be like the Marie Celeste most weeks.
Maybe they plan to sell it to a shell company for £100 million to offset psr.
UTFT NSNO IMWT.
9.) 14 May 2025 07:37:05
Or maybe they plan to build up the womens team big money in women's football now chelsea women play at Stamford bridge arsenal women play at the Emirates with big crowds manu women are a bigger club than the men now I'm all for it.
10.) 14 May 2025 08:07:36
They could potentially reduce the size of the ground by closing the upper tier stands. Think the support will increase because fans will still want to visit Goodison even if it's just for the memories.
11.) 14 May 2025 10:09:03
Definitely financially makes sense to keep the stadium.
The land isn’t worth much. Knocking it down and redeveloping it would be very expensive.
Using it for the women’s team and academy teams is sensible. They get a decent stadium to play in and fans can still visit an iconic stadium.
Whether the club do a Chelsea and sell it to themselves to generate income is yet to be seen.
The decision will have been thought through and it’ll be nothing to do with sentimentality for it being kept but do to with a sensible financial decision.
However there’ll always be some that will moan regardless.
12.) 14 May 2025 19:43:37
Do you think they will keep all the stands as they are? They probably won’t open the top balcony and parts of upper Bulllens or Gladys. Just hope it doesn’t fall into (more) disrepair.
13.) 14 May 2025 20:35:37
If it's viable then great, no problem in letting the other teams use it. Do you think they've put this out in the media to prevent people from taking their seats after the Southampton game? ?.
11 May 2025 12:39:47
Was just reading an article on Doucoure and his contract business. Almost likening himself to Salah and Van Dijk. Saying he's a very important player to the club. I think he forgets that he breaks up more of our attacks than the opposition defence does.
1.) 11 May 2025 16:06:34
Hahah class Dentie.
2.) 11 May 2025 16:44:31
?? he's talking himself into a move to Saudi, no other clubs in the world would give him the rise he wants and expects. Thanks but see you later AD ??.
3.) 11 May 2025 17:22:52
Apart from Jack Harrison, there's no other player I want to leave more. That sounds harsh, given all he's done for the club, but I just think he is really bad. Given how light we are in CM, I'd have him on low wages as a squad player but never as a CAM. That says more about how bad our CMs are than douc being good though.
4.) 11 May 2025 18:11:47
Agree there Chris mate, the guy is no longer worth anywhere near£130 grand a week.
5.) 11 May 2025 18:15:04
He was never a CAM. At Watford he was a box to box midfielder. We had no other options and then he scored 1 or 2 goals. But for him to say he's very important to the club and thinks he should get a pay rise, then I'm sorry son, see ya later.
{Ed025's Note - count me in on that Dentie..
6.) 11 May 2025 18:38:27
I wouldn’t keep him. He’s just getting in the way of better players.
15 May 2025 19:09:10
Probably right Gingerdan. We never seem to put buy back clauses into any of our deals, but then again we do get rid of some dire players lol.
15 May 2025 10:06:24
Agree Swinners. Looks a very good prospect and been playing in 1st team recently. Surprised Pep sanctioning a transfer unless they are having an overhaul.
11 May 2025 18:09:02
Gotta give Beto his dues. He works his socks off but sometimes he's further back than doucoure chasing doucoures attemp at controlling it ( touch like a pinball machine bumper) . When he's played through on goal though he has good pace, strength and will shoot. Keeper was at fault for his goal yesterday but if you don't shoot you'll never score. He could have a part to play for us next season, 1st team or as impact sub. But like I said earlier in post, 30 million is a lot to turn down.
10 May 2025 09:48:26
I'd take a punt on young Yilmaz from galatasary. 18yr old winger and a regular. I think you can have a bit more patience when it comes to wide men than those who play central.
10 May 2025 09:46:17
I'd keep beto for another season and let dcl go. But if rumours are true and Leeds offer e0 million then we would be silly to turn ghat down.
17 May 2025 20:53:45
It was a terrible decision by var again. Then he saves the penalty given shortly afterwards. Rubs salt into the wounds zbit lol.
17 May 2025 18:58:43
We paid 90k a week (I think) for Harrison over 2 seasons. I'd of not brought him back this season but we did and he's worse than the 1st season. Keane is shakes in defence but handy for a late worldie and dom is just a physios dream.
17 May 2025 16:41:37
Agreed Guernsey. Virginia is a very good keeper. Young will keep on playing because at nearly 40yr old, he still looks fitter than Doucoure lol.
17 May 2025 15:33:34
Dunno what RD is laughing at? Or why he is on the Everton page? But it's just a name at the end of the day. I mean Analfield ????.
15 May 2025 22:12:38
I'd rather the 2 ipswich wingers, think 1 is a Brighton player. But Hutchinson looks a cracking tricky winger.
