Lukaku and bellew just followed bolasie on twitter. isn't this the modern day signal of he has signed.

m1k3yd14

1.) 15 Aug 2016 11:10:51
Looking like its an initial £22.5m for Bolassie according to Sky could rise to £28m with add ons.

29 Jul 2016 11:32:52
I've now saw 3 different sites reporting Everton have declared their interest in Mahrez. Are they just picking players to link with us for fun now or is this genuine? I suppose it makes a change to us selling everyone now we are just buying everyone.

m1k3yd14

{Ed002's Note - I would think the chances of him moving to Everton would be very low indeed.}

1.) 29 Jul 2016 11:40:03
I think you are being optimistic Ed 😃.

2.) 29 Jul 2016 12:14:42
Like I said yesterday we are being put in mix to force deals through or help players and agents get improved contracts. The Aranoutovic deal was a classic example. Worst thing we did was tell the world we have money to spend!

3.) 29 Jul 2016 12:19:49
Italian reporter saying we bid for koulibaly is this true? Saying we're offering player better financial package too!

{Ed002's Note - Read the posts.}

4.) 29 Jul 2016 13:06:39
At the end of the day, if we are willing to pay big money and wages and the player is money oriented, we have a chance, but like all the other players, they have a lot of choice with other clubs having big money to spend now, I doubt this would be true.

5.) 29 Jul 2016 13:26:01
It's not just us being linked with anyone. You have to accept lazy journo's have to fill column inches and 99% of it is made up!

6.) 29 Jul 2016 14:40:13
Wasn't part of the deal to get Walsh that we couldn't approach any of Leicesters players?

21 Jul 2016 09:29:58
Rumour is Niasse wants out, Galatasary are interested. Sneijder wants out Everton apparently interested. Can we not do some sort of swap deal here? Or are we just not interested in taking on Sneijder enough for that to happen?

m1k3yd14

1.) 21 Jul 2016 11:26:11
Firstly yes if Niasse wants to go and we all want it let him go think most of us won't miss him but Sneijder i just don't know part of me would love to see him in an Everton shirt but there's a part of me that wants to see some youth come through and compete with Barkley and we've got the swiss lad that may impress us let's see what Rk and Walsh come up with when they put their heads together.

2.) 21 Jul 2016 13:30:17
Apparently we've match juve 35m for sissoko. Would rather have mata.

3.) 21 Jul 2016 14:12:40
mad that 35 million if true, I like the guy but 35 million, we are all best following Ed2's (Oracles's) advice and forget about anything to do with the finances as it just winds you up, the bubble will burst one day.

4.) 21 Jul 2016 15:32:00
Pls no! Don't want him. He had a good couple games at the euros but he's clueless. No end product. 35 million. Think Newcastle having a laugh!

26 Aug 2015 15:42:03
Hearing UTD offering Phil Jones as part of a deal for Stones. I really do not see why we would take this deal he's injury prone!

m1k3yd14

{Ed025's Note - and crap to boot..

1.) 26 Aug 2015 16:12:20
I thought that went without saying the man is known for his gurning faces whilst blocking and his seal like impression doing a header on the ground vs Arsenal. Is there anything Everton fans would be willing to get for Stones? £30m plus Chicarito/Januzaj/Evans. Or Sell him to Chelsea for £40m or £30m plus a player?

2.) 26 Aug 2015 16:55:41
I'd take £35m plus a board and manager decisive enough to do something decent with the money before the window closes. By my reckoning if we sell Stones we are left with one senior CB which will no doubt be a "phenomenally exciting moment" according to RM.

On a serious note, I wouldn't want anything Utd could / would offer us. We need two CBs if Stones goes and I'd only take Rojo or Smalling from Utd, neither of which they'd lose. We don't play to Chicarito's strengths, Evans is inconsistent at best and Januzaj isn't that different to Delboy. On the basis that Stones looks like being 95% gone, I'd be going all guns for the Celtic lad.

3.) 26 Aug 2015 16:58:06
Januzaj? Chicarito? Young? from United
Remy? Ramires? Oscar? Zouma? from Chelsea

4.) 26 Aug 2015 17:03:59
To be fair, I don't hugely rate Jones, but he's not that bad, is young, is twice the player Evans has ever been and would immediately fill the hole Stones leaves, so we wouldn't have to overpay on a last minute nobody. £30m +Jones is as good a deal as we're going to get.

5.) 26 Aug 2015 17:30:13
Please not Evans he's Sunday league quality and that's doing him a favour

{Ed025's Note - it really is mate..

03 Aug 2015 10:25:12
Shaqiri being told by inter he isn't wanted. I liked lennon but not for 6m, when we can get a younger and more talented footballer for abit more money I think is the better choice. Not one to harp on at players all for giving them a chance but Kone is not an Everton player or a number 9!! Any news on Bobby pulling another gem out the loan market??

m1k3yd14

{Ed025's Note - not yet mate..but im not ruling it out..

1.) 03 Aug 2015 10:51:40
taken from he Echo;
Roberto Martinez admits Everton need another striker along with a playmaker and a centre back after his side were defeated 2-1 in their final pre-season game of the summer.

okay possibly Austin, Van Dijk and Shaqiri?

{Ed025's Note - dont hold your breath wakka mate.. :)

2.) 03 Aug 2015 13:16:58
That would be perfect for me Wakka!

3.) 03 Aug 2015 15:02:42
i would defo take the 3 of them at this rate though we are going to be down the wrong end of the table

{Ed025's Note - i would settle for...curly larry and mo...at the moment richie.. :)

4.) 03 Aug 2015 15:47:02
Last season was a FUP and nothing learned. First game against Watford ( My Mrs Team)next Saturday, hate to say it but my confidence is not high.

{Ed025's Note - your the only one then DM, we are all getting positive now mate.. :)

5.) 03 Aug 2015 17:35:13
we played Watford opening game a few seasons ago Andy Johnson scored wouldn't be surprised if we signed him again at this rate!

6.) 03 Aug 2015 17:21:07
Probably end up with Jane Austin, disk van dijk and Shakira. 😉

{Ed025's Note - love it dentie..

7.) 04 Aug 2015 10:13:20
Not often I have a good laugh at rumours but Jane Austin, Dick Van Dijk & Shakira has got me good style hahaha great shout!! wouldn't mind Austin but at £15m is steep especially when you see Dzeko going for £14m. Price hiked because he's English and had a good season.

Potentially signing Bony, Williams, Bolasie and Kone this week. 4 Really good signings that will improve the squad, but got to ask why has it taken until the last week before the season? Hopefully the team is settled and ready for Saturday. 2 - 1 Everton Debut goal from 1 of the new boys to win it.

m1k3yd14

1.) 10 Aug 2016 09:24:02
I'd be very surprised if we sign more than one player this week. I think there may be quite a lot of media dross floating around. The only confirmed bid I have found details for is Williams the rest is all speculation. If we do sign anyone as well I wouldn't be shocked if its none of the players mentioned. let's face it when Morshi took over we were signing every Tom Dick and Harry and we didn't sign any of them. I would also question why we would sign so many Africans knowing they may be missing for the AN Cup that would mean the the spine of the side could be away for a crucial period of the season. It just doesn't make sense to me.

2.) 10 Aug 2016 11:29:57
sa90 do you not agree that signing players who are good enough to be in their national team, regardless of the nationality, is the right way to go?

Other teams also have Africans playing for them and seem to manage ok, I am not sure you realise we will only have to deal with potential loss of key players once every two years, then it will only be for 2 or 3 weeks maximum, hardly a deal breaker in my eyes.

If the players are good enough to fit in with Koeman's plans then I don't give a rats nose where they originate from.

3.) 10 Aug 2016 13:00:32
Not if its going to adversely affect our league position.

4.) 10 Aug 2016 13:24:32
so we sold b4 we bought hmmm sounds familiar. just saying.

02 Aug 2016 11:11:13
If we sell Lukaku, then who is touted as a suitable replacement? Do we have anyone as a replacement for Rom? Even if we don't sell him do we have any strikers lined up as competition?

m1k3yd14

1.) 02 Aug 2016 11:57:56
Chelsea paid £18M for Lukaku and yes, I think he will stay if he passes muster with new training regime. Stones may even stay too.

2.) 02 Aug 2016 13:32:31
Stones is not a CB, he is a deep seated DM and should he stay I see RK recognising that in him.

19 Jul 2016 08:19:47
Can anyone else see Everton doing an Everton and waiting until the season has started before we sign our players and then have to wait about 10 games before they have bedded in? On a serious note has Witsel decided which club he is going to? I've read more major twists about his transfer than I have in a Game Of Thrones book. For me personally I think we need a goalie, proven quality CB and a Striker to help out Rom. All we seem to be linked with is Centre mids.

m1k3yd14

1.) 19 Jul 2016 09:15:09
This is easy to explain and a number of people including Eds have already explained this, as follows:

New manager in place recently, most of the players were on a break so he could not work with anyone until 2 weeks ago, he needed to see them in action for himself to ascertain what he actually wants, we all know they never played to their max under Roberto so Koeman needed to see how they reacted under his training regime, now that he has just come back from a week away he will have an idea who he actually needs, ignore all the rumours about who we are supposedly in for as we never divulge info, we may have never even been in for Wixsel in the first place, just paper talk, this will be the week when things start to happen both in and out, patience comes to those who wait and we have waited a while so sit back and enjoy the ride.

2.) 19 Jul 2016 09:33:49
Because players want to sign for those already in Europe. not wait a season or 2.

3.) 19 Jul 2016 12:08:13
Personal opinion only but the root of a lot of our problems is our CEO (ex? ) and yet he still managed to wangle a seat on the board.

4.) 19 Jul 2016 12:53:34
With the Euros, a new manager and holidays for players it will not be quick in getting players.

I've said this before but for me the most important thing for Everton was the new manager. We already have a very good team but it lacked direction, routine and development.

Koeman likes to take his time in purchasing players and even at Southampton when they sold half his team he didn't panick buy.

You can only put out 11 players and we've had so called poor players in the past but with good management have had success.

People say its just like Everton this but if you asked 99% of clubs around the world would you like to be in our position every one would say yes.

Teams like Villa and Newcastle are teams run badly. Not ours.

Patience blues. It will all come good.

NSNO COYB IRKWT.

5.) 19 Jul 2016 14:11:18
I agree that we're not yet at panic stations, but the 'still assessing what we've got' line is beginning to wear thin. There are, after all, a fair few teams who have new managers this year, all of whom have been active in the transfer market.

Also, whilst it's true that Ronnie has a track record of getting players late in the window, these normally follow a few very early signings.

We all know that there are deficiencies in the team that need to be addressed and time is definitely running out to create a settled and solid team - let's not forget that there's still a sizable chance that we'll lose Stones and/ or Lukaku.

I really am trying to remain calm (I know it might not sound it from this post) but have to admit that I've lost a lot of the optimism of a few weeks back.

6.) 19 Jul 2016 19:01:49
There have been about 15 signings costing more than £10m in the premier league so far this transfer window. The eds have said we are working on deals for players and i've no doubt we will make signings that improve our squad before the window shuts.

08 Jul 2016 10:34:18
Read a news article this morning on another rumour site that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Lukaku and his representatives, But Everton have said we want 55m but Arsenal won't pay that much. Is this not tapping up? If a club doesn't accept a bid surely you cannot talk to the player and offer him terms to force a move through.

m1k3yd14

1.) 08 Jul 2016 11:02:54
It's utter rubbish and just paper talk. Keep calm.

2.) 08 Jul 2016 10:56:49
Its a load of crap mate, been reported the regurgitated a dozen times, file 13.

3.) 08 Jul 2016 12:43:10
Lukaku is in New York so it won't be him they've spoken to, more likely his agent. Nothing in the rules say they can't speak to his agent as often as they want. He's still under contract and there's no way Wenger will pay £65m or £75m whatever the current going rate is.

4.) 08 Jul 2016 14:51:37
Wenger all over, always wants to pay 50% less than the going rate, but when he sells a player the asking price is totally over the top, 75m, put up, or shut up!

04 Jul 2016 11:53:39
Lukaku is supposedly "furious" everton have slapped a £75m price tag on him. This comes weeks after he says he is 1 of the best players in the game and he deserves champions league football. Am I missing something here? He says he is this world class striker but is upset we value him a high price? Somebody needs to have a word with this lad and tell him to pipe down because he is making himself look worse and worse.

m1k3yd14

1.) 04 Jul 2016 12:38:32
has he actually said anything whatsoever or are the press guessing yet again.

2.) 04 Jul 2016 12:47:22
I'm with you on this one he or his agent or both need to shut up he could still be with us next season.

3.) 04 Jul 2016 13:39:08
Did Lukaku call you and say he was furious? Where have you got this 'story' from, he hasn't even met the manager for talks yet since there Euro exit, this story does not appear in the mainstream media ie BBC or Sky, so please give us an insight into your source?

4.) 04 Jul 2016 15:29:06
Tfb wakka the op did say supposedly.

5.) 04 Jul 2016 16:01:45
Also hasn't Moshiri sent some that Russian director out to meet Lukaku's agent? I know he is at the Euros but that means nothing that Batshuayi signed for Chelsea 2 days after being knocked out so I am sure Rom has spoken to Everton or at least his agent has.

6.) 04 Jul 2016 16:31:54
trouble is dentielad although this is a rumours site the same old repeating of twitter dribble wastes everyone's time.

This is a Rumours site after All an the stuff on it is probably about 70% fabricated made up rubbish but the times they turn out to be true it makes you happy to be a blue.

10.) 04 Jul 2016 22:59:59
@Wakka read it on the news mate as most people will do with rumours because you know they are rumours, and not all rumours revolve around sky or bbc.

There is the link if you are interested to read what I did, so I apologise for stating he wants to leave due to the countless interviews I have seen him in where he has said he will see where his future lies, he knows what club he will be playing for etc.

And no Rom never called me he must of gave you a bell instead and said neither him or his agent made any of these comments that he wants to leave. Next time he calls can you ask why he has the first touch of a baby rhino?

11.) 05 Jul 2016 08:28:32
thanks m1k3yd14.

12.) 05 Jul 2016 08:31:40
Im sure as with everything there is no smoke etc, I believe he has from the start had a game plan and was never here long term unless we had success, I think after the debacle of last season under RM he is not the only player looking for a way out, I only hope they give the new manager time to listen to the project going forward, we don't want to become a selling club!

Everyone slating us and saying we have signed "average players" that no-one else wants. We have improved on every area of the team in the players we have brought in. We finished 7th last year so we had to strengthen the squad to advance on that position. I genuinely think other teams and fans are getting slightly nervous and jealous of the fact we are making improvements and with good young hungry players who have the same ambitions as our new owner and manager. We aren't title challengers but we should be looking at Europe and a cup win this season, and what's wrong with a bit of optimism instead of the same old Everton response of moaning! Rooney may be 31 but he is a massive improvement on Niasse, Kone and Valencia. We need quality players to increase competition and I reckon we are closing the gap on the Sky6. UP THE TOFFEES.

Nasri is class only issue is he is abit injury prone and he has bad attitude problems, I think Mata has to be number 1 target we need creativity.

m1k3yd14

{Ed001's Note - he came back massively overweight after a summer break. Seriously worry about a footballer on the kind of money he is that hasn't the sense to keep an eye on their weight. How dumb do you have to be to not think to check yourself on the scales every so often? Hell he could afford to pay someone to check for him!}

Draxler is a good player yes, but let's be honest who wants a player who came out calling his current club a stepping stone haha what would he be calling us? Think we should pass on that and spend big on an out and out goalscorer and solid defender.

Everton are literally the most frutating team in the world! 1 Day I will open the paper and see we have signed somebody brilliant and it went under the radar because it was done in less than a week! Love the club but my word we don't half fanny about with things like this.

Williams is a solid defender! Miles better defender than stones. Not a better footballer but a better defender and Leicester won the league with huth and Morgan just launching it long and smashing people at the back. We need a solid Centre Half not someone who does Cruyff turns in his 6 yard box.

@Tommy personally i'm not fussed on how much we sign its the farting around we seem to do when signing someone. You could understand it when we were skint we wanted to get the most for our money and not overspend often. But now we have cash, we have a player identified that we want, but then we pussyfoot with the price and wage etc and take an age to sign someone. I like the look of this gueye (no pun intended) but if you have a target in mind just go buy him and buy him quick so he has time to settle not really arsed how much he costs.
