reporters in Iceland suggesting that gylfi's season is now over after the knee injury he picked up in the first half Saturday but played on, depending on scans if he does not need surgery could be 2-3 months out, if needing surgery could be 6-9 months on the sideline, gutting.

Yes just read that.
Good job we won yesterday then.
Walcott possibly out also.
Typical the Ev that. Baines and Coleman back and then those 2 out.

2.) 12 Mar 2018 12:17:18
been a terrible season for injuries this year Lance.

3.) 12 Mar 2018 15:37:16
I'll be devastated for him if he misses the World Cup.

klaassen loan to Napoli looks off as Napoli hadn't realised he was cup tied for Europa league, wish we could forget we were in the Europa that easily!

wblue

1.) 31 Jan 2018 17:15:36
I find it amazing that a club would even make an enquiry about a player without checking illegibility first.

31 Jan 2018 10:52:50
Simon says on talk sport potentially only one in on loan (Mangala) and one out on loan (klaassen) happy with that?

wblue

1.) 31 Jan 2018 11:48:51
by simon I meant big simon apologies.

2.) 31 Jan 2018 12:27:26
Or big Sam even. Hahaha.

Everton tell west Ham that schneiderlin is not for sale : ( was fun whilst it lasted.

wblue

1.) 30 Jan 2018 12:30:51
Transfer window closes tomorrow and Schnids to start against Leicester, going to be a long last Day tomorrow, no left back in, cannot see the old lady rocking tomorrow night.

2.) 30 Jan 2018 13:13:35
I have said this before about Martina but now feel the need to add Scheiderlin into that comment. They must both have some agent and contract stipulation because for the life of me I just cannot see any other reason why they play week in week out.

3.) 30 Jan 2018 13:28:14
That's why you're not a football manager.

4.) 30 Jan 2018 14:23:50
Any football manager/ non football manager can see that he's been woeful for a good 6 monthes now pal :) )

5.) 30 Jan 2018 15:14:57
He has been poor this season without a doubt but, then again, not many in the squad have covered themselves in glory. Last season he was outstanding and proved he has the ability to play at this level. If we can get him back to last years form then I'd be happy to keep him but not taking him out of the firing line after losing form is doing neither the team nor the player any favours.

6.) 30 Jan 2018 20:30:55
MyTeamsBetterThanYours, rather caustic there aren't you. The reason I am not a Football Manager is because I chose a different career path. I also always maintain my comments are mine alone and my opinion alone. Have never thought or said I had better knowledge than those in charge. But thanks for your input.

7.) 30 Jan 2018 22:42:05
Martina has been decent at times, but the time he has been poor overshadows this. He played a part in the spell we did not concede much at all. But it is glaringly obvious he should not be in the first 11 even in any position and is a weak link. Plus we need a left footed player in there.

latest online about tosun, is that the deal should still be agreed and completed and that he has been told by steve walsh to be ready for Friday incase called upon.

official wayne gone, come back done a job in a terrible side during a terrible season. 11 in 41 games isn't a bad record to have off this year, time to move forward.

wblue

1.) 28 Jun 2018 17:11:45
how many penalties, should have two lists, one with, one with out, for all players would give a better indication, and more interest.

2.) 28 Jun 2018 19:13:17
So if a player gets taken out just as they are going to score and then they score the penalty it doesn't count against their tally. Seems pointless.

3.) 28 Jun 2018 20:31:59
Smit666: the only thing that’s pointless is us in pretty much every match against a “top six” side for way too many years!

4.) 28 Jun 2018 21:07:24
That will change Bobby Silvas record against big teams ibn the prem is better than ours and that is with Hull and Watford lol.

26 Jun 2018 12:30:52
ahahahah! just seen the yearly yarmolenko rumour come from BILD in Germany, up there with riquelme now.

wblue

1.) 26 Jun 2018 13:05:22
Summer just wouldn't be the same with out that old chestnut. How long till he is spotted at the Titanic or at John Lennon.

2.) 26 Jun 2018 16:08:42
Hahaha just about to post that myself.
It's beyond depressing, any old tit can claim to be a sports journalist these days.
With claptrap like that is there really even any point opening up any of these sites if the info is regurgitated? Maybe from 3 years ago?
See you in August for kick off. Can't be bothered anymore as it's just repeats and jokers.
As Joe Friday says "just the facts mam"

19 Jun 2018 09:59:31
posts rolling in from myself today, spark a debate what would you do with the following players,
davies, dcl, vlasic, beni, pennington, robinson, kenny, dowell
keep keep loan loan sell loan keep keep for me.

wblue

1.) 19 Jun 2018 12:01:31
I'd be tempted to loan them all out if we get cover for them. Think playing 90 mins every week is vital for them.

2.) 19 Jun 2018 12:30:30
yeah if we got a couple more forwards i'd be all for this dcl loan to bournemouth if they were actually going to play him week in week out.

3.) 19 Jun 2018 13:32:11
I suspect DCL Davies and Beni will all feature in first team action this season.

4.) 19 Jun 2018 19:38:23
DCL and Davies often look lost to me, running around like busy fools and giving the ball away too regularly for my liking. I’d loan both out and hope regular games in a settled system give them more discipline and consistency. I’d sell Vlasic is Lookman came came and IF we were able to get Martins and / or Lozano, otherwise I’d keep him in the squad. Decent shot and delivery but rarely beats his man so could do a job in the squad in the absence of more quality.

I’d keep Robinson and Kenny in the squad for next season and ease them in because both show potential, unless we can buy better over the summer.

I’d sell the rest along with Bolasie (but agree with the above that he’s unlikely to get a better offer) , Williams (although same issue as with Bolasie) , Niasse and Martina.

5.) 19 Jun 2018 20:42:19
Vlasic is still young so would just loan him out.
Niasse has earnt the right to stay. He's a live wire and great to bring off the bench, would definitely keep him if it was up me.

6.) 19 Jun 2018 21:39:28
He’s definitely a live wire but reminds me of Ali Dia. Saying that Niasse does get a few goals, but God knows how.

7.) 19 Jun 2018 23:41:44
I just love the bloke for some reason, he's great to come on and pester the sh*t out of the defence when they're tired late on.
Plus he scored about 8 or 9 goals in 20 odd games, half of them off the bench. Can't argue with that record mate.

8.) 20 Jun 2018 07:15:29
DCL has a role to play. Valuable up front when playing top 6 sides. Runs all over and can play the lonely one man up front game. Limited though when playing lower sides. struggles to find space. remember the Citeh game last year.

9.) 20 Jun 2018 20:01:32
I just can’t see him getting 15-20 goals a season as a CF which I think is where he wants to play. We need a striker who will get that many - which I think Tosun could with Sig behind him and Lookman and Walcott either side. If it was a choice between Niasse and DCL as a number two striker I’d go with Niasse.

19 Jun 2018 09:45:13
its been said before, but one thing that annoys me more than most things is the way some of us get so wound up over transfers, scrolling through twitter then and seen a few going mad over everton not doing any business yet and going mental over west ham signing that diop after the papers linked us, just because the papers link us doesn't mean we were actually interested, don't see why anyone gets so annoyed over transfers, obviously we all want stuff doing but you can surely only judge the window once its closed?
its like if someone else signs this Lozano we've been paper linked with through brands then everyone will go mad saying 'we didn't act quick enough' etc.

wblue

1.) 19 Jun 2018 20:44:54
Good point mate, think we need to be patient this window and not worry too much.

2.) 20 Jun 2018 13:25:25
What i find totally astonishing on this sight is the number of people who think we can pick and choose any player we want, anyone of top quality will have the pick of Europe's top teams, do we really consider ourselves in that category, Brandt is going to be our saviour, so was Walsh, some of the statements on here are absolutely ridiculous, look at some of the managers people said we should get Simione for Christ's sake most of them wouldn't touch us with a stick, and didn't, about time we had a dose of realism on here, re DEGSY we are gambling again just as any club does that appoints a new manager, no body knows if Silva and Brandt will be successful or not, so let's not say they are great additions until they prove to be, or not.

15 Jun 2018 12:47:43
portugese players union confirming William carvalho has left sporting after contract terminating, will everton make a move?

wblue

1.) 15 Jun 2018 14:54:11
We will still have to pay for him as sporting own his registration.

2.) 15 Jun 2018 20:14:08
Hope we are all watching him against Spain I'm sure if Silva wants him Brands will be ontop of it.

3.) 15 Jun 2018 21:57:17
From what I saw of him tonight, carthorse springs to mind.

4.) 15 Jun 2018 22:25:13
Got to agree bignev some lovely passes but was just walking around the midfield couldn't do that in the premiership.

im liking how close our cards are to our chest, the funes mori deal came out of nowhere and nobody knew like how it used to be. I mean it could just be that we've got nothing progressing as of yet but i'm hoping for the former!

wouldn't flog oumar, the lads a nuisance and somehow gets goals, surely good enough for a squad player he's proved he can score goals, cup games etc he'd do a job.
