Rumour that we have made an enquiry with Barca about Song would cost 8 million and still only 26 might be a good option

1.) Might be a good option, If not for the shroud of corruption hovering over the Cameroon team during the world cup. Not saying it was Song himself, but there were allegations of match fixing and the whole business about the team not making the first flight out due to a protest over win bonuses make me think there might be a bit of a greed factor here somewhere. Plus his attitude on the pitch is iffy.

Cleverly has gone previous reports quoted 9 million which is a profit since we got him on a Free. Niasse is also in 8-10 million apparently. How did Everton screw up contract negotiations?
Ross was never likely to move I believe his agents are stirring the pot to get a better ideal, he loves playing for the Blues. just my opinion.

I think Foeman has every right to criticise O'Neill and McCarthy this is the second time this season McCarthy has tried to play when not fit and against the advice of the Everton medical staff. With the loss of Schneiderlin, Coleman and Fumes we are restricted in finding replacements that would have been less of a problem if McCarthy was fit. He obviously does not take Everton seriously but is happy to pick up his wages every week. Time for him to piss off I'm backing RK

I know we keep blaming Martinez for the damage he has done but we were constantly told that we had the best squad in years yet the players as well as the former manger were obviously not good enough. Where has been the pride by players for wearing the Blue shirt over the last 2 years. Vast majority of players are overpaid prima donnas. Mirallas, Del boy, are just 2 who have never been good enough for a start.

I wouldn't keep Delofeu he offers absolutely nothing in my opinion. Baines would be included also and Fumes I think is still young enough to improve but hasn't been really given a chance under RK yet.

I'm a bit pissed off with the continuing criticism of Barkley and leaving some of the others alone. Delefou is biggest head of crap IMO yet he seems to escapee criticism from many fans. Mirallas hasn't produce anything for 3 years except that his work rate has improved this season. Everyone seemed against Cleverly yet he did well until his injury last season and he was without doubt the best Everton player yesterday. Al least the Under 18s thrashed the Reds 4-1 yesterday they have some good players in that team and gave Liverpool a football lesson.
Bring back McGeadey I say he isn't any worse that those on show yesterday. [just kidding]

Have to agree with you Degsy a good post. It amazes me how quick some fans are to criticise Ross yet Gerry Delafou has been very ordinary and at times woeful but he seems to avoid any criticism because the fans have some mis conception that he is good. I don't get it. Ross has more talent than anyone else in the team so give him a break. His treatment by Woy was appalling at the Euros and it will take Ross a bit of time to get over it. Foeman says he does extra training sessions all the time so he is working hard to improve. So I say to the fans don't push him away because we will regret it.
