Apparently were in advanced talks wit Barca about sending a group of young players to La masia for technical development for between a 3 and 6 month period.

That's an interesting twist on what was thought to be happening, i.e. it was thought to be a one-way process with a Barcelona youngster coming here on loan every season to get some competitive experience. It'd certainly be an amazing opportunity for the Everton youngsters if it's true.

You'd imagine it could only be beneficial for our youngsters,I heard it from a guy who seems to know what he's talking about,let's hope he does.

Hehe thanks ed! Maybe with the extra time bobby had on his hands with his Fifa ban he was keeping tabs on this great site?! (and before anyone says anything I know it would be the academy staff that would suggest it)
