Reports now saying both the Adams and Beto deals are highly unlikely to go ahead as £30 million would be required.

Wow. What a Surprise GB (NOT! ) .

Where's the apparent £25million we bid on Gnonto. hmmmmm.

Why are we not looking at Piroe of Swansea who is apparently going to Leeds for under £10million.

Quite simply because has been the case all summer, we ain't a pot to piss in.

Adams price rumoured to be 18 million for a player with just a year on contract, pretty steep if you ask me!

Mocker, fees can be structured, I think it's more because we are hamstrung on wages we can offer. All a problem of our own making.

He’d be £20 mill if we were trying to buy him.
If we had the money, we’d have bought players surely. Everyone knows we need players.
Banking on getting rid of more players off the safe bill and it’s not happened.

Transfers are structured as payments.
Rarely are transfers paid in full and all at once.

All clubs have to arrange a transfer that suits their budget/ payment terms it's not unusual.

We didn't get all the Lukaku money in one but still sold him.

Surely your all very aware there's no money this is purely bluff posturing to keep the fans off the clubs back. The club is in free fall the gray fee will remain undisclosed so when it disapears you no the rest. Expect more asset stripping.

I’m sure they accepted £15m for Adams. It was all about the structure of the payment.
Everton wanted A littlwoods catalogue deal with a 15 year structured repayment plan that would actually see them pay £50m with interest.

And the chermiti money came from the fairies?
The offer for Gnonto was purely fiction?
The Adams offer has not happened?

Do you actually understand what is going on?

Not sure anyone knows what’s going on Smit and that includes those who are supposed to be running the club.

We’re in a pickle created by the incompetents running the club.

Not just financially with ridiculous fees paid previously, crazy wages for mediocre players and an endless sacking of managers leading to compensation payments.

But it appears all aspects of the club are a joke now - an owner who doesn’t know anything about football and doesn’t engage with the fans.

A chairman who is deluded and appears not to be aware of the issues he has created with the fans and won’t step down.

A manager who persists with the worst centreback at the club even though results and performances improved when he was dropped tail end of the season.

A squad that on paper should be good but have shown very little heart or desire on the pitch.

If anyone understands what’s going on, I’d be amazed.

Let not forget the millions in settlement for 3 useless directors that deserved nothing and that should have been forced out years ago for incompetence but, because they never stood up to Moshiri, were kept on

Finally, criticism from the fans and pressure from MSP about a deal that never came to fruition got them to leave with a nice big pay day

No wonder we have very little for players

And now we're getting the same old "We are working diligently" on arranging the stadium finance as we are on finding players

The club is in a right mess, all down to Moshiri really but Bill isn't complaining - he's waiting for his pay off and couldn't give a damn about the club he professes to love.

It’s obvious that unless Everton sell one of their players for decent money which is highly unlikely than they haven’t got any money to offer up front! Not even 1-5 million, it appears that they have No available cash for transfers! That why deals are taking a long time as Everton want pay instalments and probably the first part of the instalment paid next year, not many clubs are going tolerate that kind of deal, unless they get investment in in the next five days.

Ed have we actually put a bid in for anyone that hasn’t been considered derisory? .

Which decent players uran? I’m watching a different team I think as haven’t seen any, well certainly not one who will bring in decent money! Our only assets are Pickford who makes too many mistakes and there are GKs out there who would be for lesser fees that are easily as good eg Sanchez at Chelsea, and we have onana who must be the most overrated player I have ever seen. He doesn’t influence any of our games, can’t create, doesn’t score not sure what he brings yet people on hear think we should be getting a fee similar to caceido or lavia? Living in a dream world we will be lucky to get our money back on him if we try and sell him before he actually does anything decent.

I said decent money in Everton’s case that anything over £1 million, to be honest we couldn’t even give them away, just to get them off the wage bill would be a massive help to the club.

Agree with both uran and rlchris1982. We have an extremely devalued squad. Not much appetite from anyone for our players. I again agree on pickford. I'd happily move him on if the board could reinvest into the playing squad (joke i know given how incompetent our board is) . I can think of several better goalkeepers than him. Re onana . Well he's alright that's about it. agree he doesn't score or assist but then nobody does in this team of pure dog muck. Re dyche - definitely not the worse manager. Agree with many on here re his obsession with playing the biggest donkey in 40 years I've ever seen at the club over and over (mr keane) . its been proven time and time again its not the manager that's the issue.
