So Moyes wanted to manage anyone that was in the Champions League and his brother was touting him about 8 months ago. And Holland of all places, not exactly world beaters over there.

My god, how it all comes out when they're gone.

Bye Moyes and good riddance.

We have to let Moyes go now mate know matter what he says our does just don't let it annoy you I stopped caring what Moyes said or did as soon as he put that insult of a bid in for Baines I am well over Moyes now and just looking forward to the season under our new gaffer as I say Moyes who.

2.) 24 Jul 2013
I agree stef. when moyes was at everton he prided himself on how any player who was to leave everton then they would be sold on the very best deal for everton football club. so to then bid 12m for the prems best left back and while he was still OFFICIALLY evertons manager was just plain wrong on so many levels. So screw david moyes. 18BLUEBOY78

Want are you on about?
And we get over the moyes obsession he was a good manager for over a decade but has moved on now so have most of us.

4.) 24 Jul 2013
Your right the moyes era has finished but don't like what people say about him now he's gone they have very short memories we were in dire straights when he took over and has put in very hard work for over ten years to put us in the position we find ourselves in today his net spend over that period his unbelievable and were aiming for top 4 finish, let's be fair if anyone of our fans was in his shoes you would be buying the best players that you brought to the club and as we are aware of the finances you get the best deal possible put it this way if Manchester United do buy baines on the cheap then I will blame our board not moyes we can reject anything if we want, good luck to you mr moyes you deserve an oppurtunity to spend big and try and achieve your goals sad you could not do it with us blues we will continue the foundations you built and Martinez will add too it and make it to the champions league you have one more duty left to fill let Rooney come home!!

5.) 24 Jul 2013
David who?

6.) 24 Jul 2013
Who is David Moyes?.

7.) 24 Jul 2013
Right you are Stef.

8.) 24 Jul 2013
And he got bloody good money for his 10 years " hard " work. He has dirtied his memory. In my opinion that is

Needless aggression towards someone who put in a hugely influential shift for this club. I was going to say "our club", but feel at odds with some of the posters here, putting on the macho swagger under the misguided impression that it enhances their profile as (yawn) passionate fans.

Not that I want see anyone employed out of work, but having given loyal service to EFC and been paid very very well, "helping us" it would look like he and his family believed his own hype.

His honesty and integrity somehow melted away very quickly, leaving at the end of a contract is just poor and shows him as a rather shallow man.
Grass isn't always greener well Moyes you seem to have penned it enough before, I do hope your own words don't come back and haunt you!

Moyes who! My heart is with Everton and Everton only, it also has a small piece for Martinez, i'm really excited and don't care about Moyes and what he says or does, if he takes any of our players we will be fine like we always are. after all we ARE THE PEOPLES CLUB. COYB

13.) 25 Jul 2013
"leaving at the end of a contract is just poor". He was perfectly entitled to leave, it being the end of his contract. How is it poor, given that he's seen it through?

Get the impression here, like the 'Kenwright out' stuff that surfaces during a lull, that some people just love to have a bogeyman figure to channel their aggression.

The same people who talk about integrity salivate over the idea of some morally bankrupt oligarch taking over the club.

14.) 25 Jul 2013
Poor as he left the club for nothing, no agression at all in the statement.

Everton after all made a significant contribution towards the fiscal element of the Moyes household, Mr Martinez was I believe on a rolling contract as are many other managers.
