F**K it, let's all just give up.
The seasons over, we have no chance at anything, We may not even finish in the prem this season!

Errrm.

We're out of the cup this year. So what! It gives us chance at the league!

We have our main rivals over the next month or so, Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, City, Chelsea. Imagine winning all those games.

No seriously "IMAGINE"

Imagine taking all 15pts. Go on.
Go to the happy place!

Where will that leave us?

If I remember rightly, when we last got the CL, we where in about the same position as we are now, we weren't exactly running away with it, that's for sure!

If I remember last year (it's hard I've slept with the wife since then. I think) City were 8pts adrift. Who won the league?

last year we where 3-1/4-2 down to United.

Newcaslte arsenal 4-0 at half time remember that?

My point is, we, as fans, have an influence in results (crazy I know) but we do.
Have you ever walked into a room and felt "the vibe?" you know somethings wrong or somethings right? you don't have to speak or look at anyone, you just know?
That's Everton fans right now.
Not Believing! (or hoping)

Why do united win 99% of the time? Because they have a good team?
Because they have the best players?
NO! Because they Believe!

Everton no longer "Believe" we "Expect!"
WTF are we expecting?

Before this season started we "believed" we had a chance, as the season rolled on we "expected!"

My second point (in all this madness, rambling I'm doing)

GET BEHIND THE TEAM!

Not the manager, not Fellaini bypassing the game, not Neville "The crab, " Not Jelly missing chances, Not Hietinga's mistakes, Not Gibson being injured, Not BK asking too much for the club, Not the board putting money in, Not the ref, not the linesman, Not playing the youngsters, Not missing out on Fer, not transfers, not January, Not the Redrubbish, Not who should be the next manager, not money, not when we're on telly.

How about supporting the people trying? The Physios, the kit man, the cleaner that scrubs the toilets, the steward that gets to go to EVERY game but never gets to watch the match, the ball boys/girls, the groundsmen, the hot dog man, the Cabbie working to bring us all to the game, while listening to his radio, the bus driver,

How about "Support?"

What happened to "Born not manufactured?"

Looks to me like, a lot of the people on this site would prefer the latter.

I will support Everton through thick and thin but I will not support negative fans!

Thanks

Sorry if my rant went way-ward, I've had to deal with 3 kids and a wife and dog in between the rant (So I got lost at times)

COYB! {Ed025's Note - what an uplifting post that is!!..great stuff as usual doc....if this does,nt give the guys a lift...then nothing will..

Fans like you are the reason why we haven't won't trophy for longtime, we always support our club but at the sametime can't accept our players not giving 100% neither accept moyes to treat our club like steping stone, if we don't stand for our club now and let clowns to run and destroy our club then sry mate I'm not one of them, we have to makesure moyes, board and players need to know what everton players are expected when they put our clubs mighty shirt, getting beat is not the problem but lack of passion, fight and a manager who thinks all of a sudden is bigger then club is the problem.

Sry to say moyes needs to be sacked as soon as possible, the way he has behaved this season and his contract situation making worse and effecting our team spirit just shows how class a manager he is.

Blue sea

Can I chip in that if Goodison bounced as much week in week out as it usually does for the likes of the derby game, then surely we would be in a different position league wise than we are at present. Imagine the lift the players must receive when they hear the voices of over 20,000 fans cheering them on! I cast people's minds back to the semi final and final of the FA cup only a couple of years back and the blue half of Wembley singing we shall not be moved made my neck hairs stand on ends. The same supporters who went to Wembley on those days are no different to the ones who commonly visit Goodison Park on a regular basis, however Goodison is quite commonly branded as " as quiet as a grave. " Going back to the OP's comments and cheering on his team, If everyone in Goodison got behind the team and shouted their lungs out for 90 mins with encouragement, so much so that like me, go home with no voice, surely the team would perform better on the field? C'mon guys let's get behind out team and see how we as fans can influence the teams performances, because its sure not going to change if we all sit and sulk at what the back room staff (moyes, kw etc) are doing at the moment. We are in free fall and the team NEEDS our support more than ever. Goodison is all well and good at supporting the team when we are 3/4 goals up, bt where is the support when we are 1/2/3/4 down?
