Seen a few papers, channels/websites (ssn) and writers saying Everton are odds-on to sign highly rated defender Steven Caulker, and a deal could be agreed as early as next week in the regions of £8-10million. personally I believe this would be a great deal as gives him and Stones times to familiarise themselves and establish themselves together at the heart of the school of science

It's all speculation - instigated by some "interested" party no doubt (!) - but sometimes there's a kernel of truth in some stories.
I'm also thinking that Stones and Caulker could become the future England centre-back pairing.
If RM tries a three-at-the-back formation, I wonder who'd be the third centre back - Browning (if he develops) or perhaps Rodwell (if he returns to us). Any views out there?
