Well it's not like that wasn't expected. Have got to change our formation or we won't score another goal. One up top doesn't work regardless of who it is.
Go 4-4-2 and at least have a go. If we're going down then let's go down fighting.

Yeah but to go 4-4-2 Dyche will have to have confidence in his midfield, CBs and full backs.
Now Coleman gives his all but is getting no younger, who would you trust? If we do that we might nick a goal bit lose 6-1 every game.

Well we lost 4-0 tonight so what do, stay as is and just hope for 0-0?

It's frustrating Woburn but The board and Thelwell haven't given Dyche any options

DCL injured yet again so all we have is Maupay, a very poor signing and Simms who, it would appear, is not particularly rated by Dyche. Not sure why but possibly because of his mobility?

Should we have stopped Cannon going out on loan? In his, and our, longer term interests it is good he is getting more regular senior games but would he have given us an extra option? Someone decided to bring Simms back and let Cannon go out on loan. So far, based on Dyche's limited use of Simms I'm not sure it was Dyches decision and maybe we should have kept both of them if we weren't signing anyone

Could we have recalled Deli Ali? Not sure his form in Turkey would warrant it and, at least, some of his wage is being covered. Also there would have been the danger that a fee to Spurs might have been triggered. He was however probably one of the few players we have on the books that can finish and play in the No 10 role

Dyche is trying to play 4 5 1 when defending then fast breaks to support the lone striker, For the first 40 minutes against Arsenal this worked to the degree they didn't create as many chances as us

It didn't work as good as it could of though because we had Maupay not capitalising on any chances and no one else getting into the box

Then, 2 defensive mistakes and the game was over. 4 4 2 wouldn't have stopped the defensive mistakes

I think the first 40 minutes are the way forward but we have to take our chances, whether they fall to the striker/ s or the midfield finally get on the end of a couple. Getting goals is our weakness but also, if we fall behind 99% of the time we will go on to lose until we get some confidence back in attack.

I would love to see us play 4-4-2 and I bet SD would too. The problem is we don’t have 1 striker good enough atm never mind 2 and with dcl injuries we are unlikely to for rest of season.

We can’t continue with only one up top though. Defence have a day off when they play us.

We did defend well and had some good counter attack positions in 1st 40mins. Unfortunately for us, 3 or 4 of them broke down as soon as Maupay got possession. Any decent striker/ footballer could make more out of those chances and if we had scored then we would’ve had something to defend.
There’s no excuse for some/ most of our players performances this season, we can all see they’re not good enough. And everyone knows we are 3-4 players short in attack, the Board, Chairman, Moshiri and Thelwell are to blame for this lack of squad depth. It could very well cost us our position in EPL and I believe their last contribution to EFC will be to relegate the club before we finally see the back of all them.
