Took in the new year game at a local non league club (Lewes fc) , £12 entry, son free as u16. Good beer, fun atmosphere, the game was competitive and best of all no VAR, no diving, no play acting. It was like watching a proper game of footy again.

A big thumbs up for an afternoon spent at The Dripping Pan. We go to see Worthing FC quite a bit - went on Boxing Day which was really good fun; always entertaining. I love Everton and always will, but I'm falling out of love with the EPL.

I've been to the Dripping pan a couple times now and will go more I think.
Same as you BT, my love of top flight football in general has been less and less over past 10yrs. Still keep bloody following Everton though ha ha ha.

I went to watch Matlock Town play. A player dived and the ref said get up or I will send you off. Bloke got up and carried on playing. Lots of tackling with the ref being very vocal with the players, it was a bloody good watch.
