We gave it a go last night but the difference in quality was vast and obvious. DCL looks good but needs more assistance. Some of the passing was pure sunday league at times and i'm sticking with the idea that Gana is finished and should on be on the bench.
I think we beat Leicester, Wolves and Bmouth if we just add a bit of quality to our fight.
Godfrey almost made me throw the remote at the telly at times. Anyone have an idea why Patterson remains on the bench?

{Ed025's Note - godfrey was awful BO and although im not a patterson fan i would have preferred him, gana is very loose with his passing but who do you replace him with?..tom davies?, our options are very limited mate, now im a Dyche fan but Maupay from the bench...really?..

I’d say Garner is a better bet than Gana Ed.

I to like Dyche but coming from a background where rhetoric was rarely if ever used (in fact discounted as BS) it dismays me when professionals use it. We have had months/ years of this from BK the ultimate showman, to now see SD using it is disappointing. I do think we need to stick with him though, as in the Championship his organisational skills will be vital (if he is allowed to use them that is) .

Id have to say Garner. At the very least he can play better passes. At one time Gana was the one of the best MFs in the prem but now he's just sloppy. To be fair most of the passing was awful last night.
Maupay is useless. I don't see one benefit in having him at the club. As much as I want Simms to do well for us, I just don't think he has what it takes at this level. Maybe its the team set-up but he just ends up chasing shadows. But then if we do go down he may do well in the championship.
Its not what the fans deserve but it's certainly a comeuppance for the board. They can move on to different things but its us who are stuck with a stagnant squad.

On the plus side its friday and bank holiday on monday.

Gana is one of our better players he breaks up a lot of opposition play we don't have another player in the squad as effective as him. What he does do is gets tired quicker and then him performance drops off it would help if he had more support doing the dog work early doors and he then get subbed when he gets tired.

Ideally Gana would come off the bench for the last 30 to help protect a lead. The problem is we never have a lead to protect.
