Agree kenwright should have gone years ago, but now we are possibly owned by an investment group only interested in making money who honestly feels this is a way forward. Yes stadium is paid for etc but can't see squad being improved, i feel by may next year we will be more disappointed that excited. Can Ed001 or 002 give there honest opinions for us.

{Ed002's Note - The new owners will want to find a way to get the best value that they can from the asset and finishing the stadium clearly helps. They want to see growth in the asset and that will be helped by being more successful and that can be helped sustainably by improving the Everton academy which has been largely hopeless although has had some success with Gordon, Barkley etc. but equally will rue not being able to hold on to one or two others (Ishe Samuels-Smith springs to mind) who have potentially very good futures ahead of them. Much will be down to who provides footballing advice to the new owners and who they recruit to run the footballing side of the business. So for now, we don't know how it will turn out but can only hope all will be well.}

Would part of the plan be to loan our young players out to the other 777 owned clubs, Ed?

{Ed002's Note - They will be nowhere near such thoughts.}
