I was all for giving kone a chance but ffs!, lukaku is not 100% ready yet, we are in europe, we need everyone ready, kone should be training and getting himself match fit asap so he can prove the doubters wrong, what is he doing? Well he's on holiday riding camels of course!, its embarrassing, get rid of him please bobby, it didn't work out, no manager gets every signing right

That is very unfair! Kone had a serious injury and came back well before preseason on his own to do extra work in order to get himself fit as soon as possible. He is doing the best he can under guidance from the medical team.

Are you saying that the medical team are to blame as well? No need for that outburst

So the medical teams guidance is to not train, to not be a part on the squad and to earn 40+k a week riding camels? He may of came back early for pre season (what else was he going to do? He had no world cup and had basically been on holiday since september) but he should continue to get fit, why is he on holiday when we need him most! Will the medical teams advice for barkley be to go swimming with dolphins? Is the reason oviedo is expected back so soon because he has been taming anacondas in the amazon? Kone will never be fit, he may be the one on the camel but we're the ones getting the hump

3.) 16 Aug 2014
He's had a year off stevie. the only reason he should be on holiday now is because his knee is knackered. after trying to get fit. Imagine what dosey mertesacker would do to it. i'm babbling, basically if his knee is done in just trying to ge fit we should tip the camel he is allegedly riding an leave him somewhere. Its pointless having him if he can't get fit. Throw in the fact he will never have a solid pre season due to his religious dietry needs and imo he is a waste of money

4.) 16 Aug 2014
Both agreed.A bit difference is stevie has more patience.Still thinking we should sign striker more.

5.) 16 Aug 2014
What is this bash Kone all the time? The guy had a serious knee injury and has been working hard to get through it. The only thing embarrassing is the obsession with being negative about everything Everton.

{Ed025's Note - it seems a lot of guys just love to beat themselves up dello..we pay good money to watch everton, then do nothing but moan!. come on guys, brighten up!...its supposed to be enjoyment FFS..

Swan you truly are a miserable sod.
Nothing entertaining about it. Take your deluded pessimism somewhere else.

7.) 16 Aug 2014
Totally agree Swan, whatever is going on at Finch Farm needs investigating.
This guys been on a jolly since he arrived!

8.) 16 Aug 2014
I don't agree with everything he says, but why should swan have to take his views elsewhere? is this not what a forum is for? since when did the club motto become "nil satis nisi ( 'deluded') optimism"?????
what kone has done is to send a message that a)he is not going to be playing for a while, b)that whilst he is out, he might as well be enjoying himself on a lovely holiday including taking part in some activities which involve no risks, such as having a dodgy knee and falling off a camel, and that c)he doesn't really care what anyone thinks about the matter anyway? what's wrong with that (sic)? at best, kone's actions are just incredibly bad p.r. personally, I am sure camel riding is just what a bad knee needs to aid its recovery, although, admittedly, I am not a medical man. p.s. if he went jet ski-ing whilst he was there, now that would be funny.

Whats all this camel rubbish? How do you know it's a recent photo?

10.) 16 Aug 2014
The photo of him riding a camel on his instagram Page was an old photo of his vacation to dubai lord knows how long ago, he said so himself. Let's put this to bed.

11.) 16 Aug 2014
Which if true, the right boot is on order. The guy has played how many minutes for us? Man, enough.

12.) 17 Aug 2014
Shame really. He's actually a decent agile goal scorer. And a pristine camel donner.
