Just watching Gyokeres for Coventry. This lad is one powerful unit. May have missed the boat here. If we were in fact in for him that is.

Leeds will look to him as a Bamford replacement and have approached Coventry with the signing of Rutter not impacting their interest. Maybe Chris, but you can’t knock the lads energy and commitment. I believe he would have made a huge difference to our forward line.

He is better than what we have. The lad wants to win and his only thought when he gets the ball is to go forward. Also you play a poor pass to him and he bloody let’s you know.
He is far to good for the league he is in, and is basically dragging Coventry into a play off position.
I personally think he would have been perfect for us, and for what they were asking would have been a bargain.

I've since seen some stats about him and he is doing well and tbh is the kind of player we should be in for. Think he is the second highest scorer in the championship but Coventry are 11th so that's clearly good. And yes he is better than what we have, but that is not hard.

But I just thought the game looked very very slow and the step up to the prem from that type of game would be a big one. But don't get me wrong I'd much rather see him play over Maupay.

I really don't know what's going on with Dom. I'm starting to think it's more than what we are being lead to believe. Was supposed to be close to coming back against Leeds but now he's nowhere to be seen. He's impossible to rely on. Come summer a starting 1st 11 striker must be a priority.

Think dyche needs to try something slightly different, however can’t see him going with gray up top as clearly doesn’t seem to trust him.

Wonder if there are any youngsters that could be called upon?

Problem with that blue boy is none of our midfielders are good enough to play in a 2 either.
