It's all part of a pantomime played out a 1000 times. The only facts are that Leeds got relegated and need to clear out some players but want to hold firm for the highest price. This player reportedly has interest from Us Juve and a number of others. They will wait for the biggest pay day. It's really not something for anyone to fall for and character assassinate the player for. The press whip up the sheeple again.

I think the problem Toffee ace is that he wants to keep playing for his country. Mancini won't pick players who aren't in top flight. So it affectively rules him out the Euros next year. Leeds know this yet are sti wanting to keep him. In fairness if I was Leeds I'd sell for 20mill, put sell on clause in and then sign replacement. Plus they have Harrison and Summerville still.

I think between all the comments, the nail has been hit on the head. Leeds want maximum for him, ostensibly digging their heels in and willing to keep an unhappy player at the club - all part of the circus.

Likewise, questionable character of a player who downs tools. Do we want someone like that?

I think he has a case for wanting out if he misses international selection
Wherever he wants to go I feel the thing to do is Leeds set a fair value to let him go or maybe allow him a loan ??‍♂️
If he was downing tools for a bigger pay day I wouldn’t be impressed, when it’s so he can be in the frame for international call up then I would let that slide
Plus…. he’s going to put a shift in to get that recognition to stay in Mancini’s thoughts.
