Looks like we will have a new striker in shortly, a new £15 million pound bid has just gone in for Che Adams and reports suggest Southampton will accept.

Not sure that’ll help much as no service to front players - we could have Harry Kane upfront but without support of the midfield and wide players we’d still fail to score.

Worrying that the team today was almost our strongest team and it was abysmal.

Pickford rash and a needless yellow card.

Patterson very poor, majority of attacks down his side and he was beaten too easily.

Keane - no words

Tarkowski - usually very vocal but quiet today.

Young - ok

Garner - looked lost.

Gueye - anonymous

Iwobi - reverted to type and was poor with little creativity - unlikely to sell him now injured so likely go on a free next year.

Onana - poor game, anonymous

Doucore - lethargic and didn’t look interested.

DCL - looked lively until injured

Going to be a long hard season if they don’t buck up their ideas.

Dyche has to take some blame - why he perseveres with Keane and leaves Branthwaite on the bench is criminal.

Yep I thought Young, Tarks and Danjuma were about our best so many of the others not just Keane though he was awful not sure why he doesn’t play Branthwaite, another poor player was Patterson, but they did not turn up today we have 10 days left to bring a few in hope Sean can do it for all our sakes otherwise we are in the doo doo.

I’m not entirely convinced we have the pull to bring in the kind of players that will be required to turn this around.

The striker wasn’t the issue today, just awful throughout.

The manager is the issue he is a total clown.

No it wasn’t the issue mate but we have to start somewhere that was diabolical today.

Criminal Keane is still at the club. Maupay takes a lot of stick and deservedly so but Keane is another level of dog muck. I'd rather have holgate.

As McEnrow would say, You can’t be serious.

Midfield is the problem. We have no creativity whatsoever. These people saying onana is worth same as Latvia are living in a dream world! He doesn’t impact any game ever so overrated it’s unreal.

Patterson is awful we need a new right back and Keane is the worst centre back the premier league has possibly ever seen.

Pickford was typical in that he always has a terrible mistake in him. We should get some money in for him because you could spend less than £10m and easily find a replacement who was no worse.

The less said about Dyche the better. Refuses to change it. Sorry but the kids could outperform that lot just by trying! Keane shouldn’t even be on the bench, let alone in the team. This is genuinely the worst Everton team I have ever seen.

No way we stay up this season unless we get lucky again and find 3 teams worse than us. The issue is that all the other terrible teams have players much better than ours that would walk into our team!

We have no tactical answers when things go wrong The new bread of manager takes chances literally has a play book. I think sitting back am hitting teams on the break is all we have. The modern manager can adapt to that instantly. Emery just needed to watch how poor fulham where and do the opposite to make us look like school boys. What's worse than that result today was the fact any decent manager will no how to counter our counter play. We didn't even look like scoring till the game was over. Its such a shame we don't capitalise on Graham potters downfall at Chelsea and get him before he realises a strong side would take him. Or drug him and get him to take our sorry asses. We would have a manager who would end all the sporadic bi polar transfer rumours and look at certain type of player who can work his system. I keep hearing we are looking at strikers who can fit our system like DCL. He's done nothing in a long time and do we even know what system that is. Today was shocking and Fulham looked absolutely clueless. Villa are a half decent side but the top ten are all strong we are going to be murdered this year.

I like Dyche because he says it like it is, but his persistence with Keane is ridiculous. Branthwaite is more physical and Godfrey is a better athlete. I’d play either before Keane.

DCL was unlucky with that injury and clearly wanted to stay on, so people giving him sh1t when he was rightly taken off are out of line. Saying that, he can’t stay fit long enough to get sharp so really isn’t the answer.

Onana is a weird one. The abuse he got online was bang out of order. If a white player has a bad game people say he’s cr@p, but why when a black player has a bad game does it become because he’s black? Drives me mental. Looks to be talented but not really sure what his position is. Has the athleticism to be box to box, but doesn’t seem to add anything.

Gueye looks shot to me. Certainly not the player we sold to PSG.

As usual, doom doom doom, we're all doomed! It couldn't be simpler just waiting for the right winger to come in, move Garner into the centre, drop Gana as he doesn't offer anything, so play Onana there as he's done all his career to date. Danjuma on the left, to play as Richarlison did, then just a number 9 to finish (DCL was unlucky to take a knock). Besides we're just giving everyone a start before we get going.
