I wish everyone would give the lad a break . One of the nicest guys in the squad, always giving up time to speak with the fans at FF . Yes he’s had injuries and had a bad time . But probably one of the first names on the team sheet . No one was slagging him off when he scored the winner against palace last season . So infuriating!

If DCL is fit and could play on Sunday, who do you drop to fit him in the starting line up?

Personally I’d maybe have him come off the bench as don’t think any of the first eleven deserve to be dropped to accommodate him at the mo.

Totally agree with you, logie. Some of the criticism is a bit harsh on the lad. He's had a torrid time with injuries of late but he still managed to score the goal that kept us up. Deserves a bit more respect I think.
That said, I wouldn't start him against man u, a DCL lacking match fitness is more of an option than Rondon from the bench.

He may get injured again swan, but stating “ will get injured before it “ is in my opinion a negative comment. You’re fully entitled to your opinion mate . I just feel the comments this lad gets are not deserved and we should be giving him all the encouragement we can to get him back, to being the player we know he is.

The problem people have is that last season he was very unreliable in terms of fitness and also when he actually played he struggled for the most part.

This season he’s been injured the whole time. I have no personal issue with him and I like having him available but he’s very limited and has proved to be unreliable.
