Frank Lampard has to take the blame for the losing run since he's taken over because he has constantly played the same players each week that keep making the same mistakes and contributing nothing to the fluency of the team, his rhetoric talk to the press after each losing game is the same " I am finding out about the players " making mistakes! And then for the following match one would expect changes in personal but no! Same old faces start the game, how is that 99% of the people who post on this site believe that certain players are not good enough for even a lower league team but he sees them differently along with his coaching staff, baffling!
Patterson get injured and all of a sudden he comes out and says that a shame as he was going to start his first game after his impressive Games for Scotland, bull rubbish!
Some of the players he constantly playing wouldn't command a transfer fee, we couldn't give them away, they would leave for free when their lucrative contact is up
Next game will be the same and the following games to the end of the season
Ok he might have Mina back along with Allan, Coleman also but I bet he still finds a place to play Kenny and Holgate and drops Branthwaite our best defender against Burnley by a mile and that's his first game in months so what does that tell you
Why didn't he play Ali last night, why hasn't he played Ghazi why didn't he play Rondon earlier in the game I wish the interviewer would ask him questions that we all want to know the answers to
If he doesn't change his personal and tactics to suit the team then I can't honestly see us achieving anything in the remaining games.

I do partially understand where you're coming from Uran but Kenny was our only RB. Frank didn't have much option but to play him and he is beyond abysmal. He failed to stop crosses coming in so often it's like he doesn't understand that's part of the game.

DCL again abysmal. Needs to take a long hard look at himself. Passing was terrible. Didn't make a single run in behind all game. Don't think he got a flick on all game, maybe won 2 or 3 headers but went to no man's land. Passing, not sure he knows what passing is.

Other players were really bad too. Richy missed a couple of chances.

You can't blame Frank for that.

We played Burnley and the only way we could score was from penalties. With the possession and chances we had we can't blame Frank for that loss. We barely had any attacking subs. Rondon the only forward.

Nah, agree with Chris tbh. Players are awful and they've no been able to do it under 5 or 6 managers.

Carlo was successful because he parked 2 buses and had fit and firing one season wonder in dcl.

Ronson, you mad? Fans wanted to shoot him when rafa played him.

He should have swapped gray for dcl and moved richy inside to St.

Kenny the only rb,


No cbs, keane suspended and mina injured.

we have no midfield- Allan, gomez and Davies injured

Dcl so out of form it's unreal.


Gordon, gray, pickford, richy, iwobi in that order for player of season, which shows how awful we have been.

Controversial but a uncomfortable fact we are also down a certain attack midfielder no10 who was once the toast of Iceland. Just adding him to our CM woes. He was always worth at least 5 goals a season and same in assists. Maybe we could have done with those numbers come our final days in the top flight. No charges still yet we couldn't use our costliest asset. With the common madness of professional football players having a "darkside" shall we say, surely a directive should be agreed where upon a situation like that developing, a club should be able to terminate a contract with immediate effect, cancel their squad number and counter sue the player for their transfer fee. If we can't play him or sell him, the system is clearly broken. Or the alternative is to have a gagging order until such time as a player is charged and prosecution process has started. I'm only thinking from the unfairness to a club, not defending the player at all.

Part of our problem is the constant changing of managers yet some want FL gone? Some fans have lost the plot more than the board. There are numerous examples of what happens when you burn through 5 or 6 new managers within a 5 or 6 year period and it never ends well.
Blame the current manager all you like but that's not the cause of our woes. These players have been stealing a living for a while, they should be taking the majority of the stick.
Do some of you want us to continue swapping and changing managers in the championship too? We will be in league one before we know it if the board listened to you!
